Luis Lugo
Luis Eduardo Lugo Lareschi (born March 5, 1994) is a Venezuelan-born Italian professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. Lugo was signed by the Cleveland Indians as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played for Team Italy in the 2019 European Baseball Championship. Professional career Lugo was signed by the Cleveland Indians as an undrafted free agent on February 28, 2011. He began his professional career in 2011, appearing in 12 games between the Dominican Summer League Indians and the Arizona League Indians with an 0–5 record and a 3.93 ERA. The following season he spent entirely in Arizona, and then in 2013 he played for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, starting 11 games with a 1–4 record and a 1.97 ERA. Lynchburg Hillcats
The Lynchburg Hillcats are a Minor League Baseball team in Lynchburg, Virginia that plays in the Carolina League and is the Single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. They were a farm team of the Atlanta Braves from 2011 to 2014, the Cincinnati Reds in 2010, and the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1995 to 2009. The Hillcats play home games at Calvin Falwell Field; refurbished and renamed in 2004, the stadium seats 4,291 fans. In May 2016, the franchise announced that they would rebrand after the season. The 2017 World Baseball Classic (WBC) was an international professional baseball competition, composed of 16 competing nations, held from March 6 to March 22, 2017. It was the fourth iteration of the World Baseball Classic. The first-round hosts were Seoul, Tokyo, Miami, and Zapopan. The second-round hosts were Tokyo and San Diego, and the championship round was played in Los Angeles.
