Luis Alegre Zahonero
Luis Alegre Zahonero (born 16 March 1977) is a Spanish philosopher and writer, a professor in the Complutense University of Madrid, and a founding member of Podemos. Biography Luis Alegre is a researcher and professor of philosophy in the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a disciple of Carlos Fernández Liria, also a philosophy lecturer at the university, with whom he has collaborated on several magazines and alternative media sites such as ''El Viejo Topo'', ''Viento Sur'' and ''Rebelion.org''. Alegre and Fernandez Liria have written several books together, most notably ''The Order of Capital'', which won the Liberator Prize for Critical Thinking in 2010. This award, granted by the Ministry of Culture in Venezuela, rewarded the winners with a $150,000 purse. Podemos (Spanish Political Party)
Podemos (, translated in English as "We Can"), * ca, Podem, * gl, Podemos, is a left-wing populist political party in Spain. Part of the anti-austerity movement in Spain, it was founded in January 2014 by political scientist Pablo Iglesias Turrión and other academics in the aftermath of the 15-M Movement protests against inequality and corruption. In the 2014 European Parliament election in Spain, Podemos won 8.0% of the vote and five seats. The newly founded party's big impact received significant media attention, having defied the odds and polls, while major parties lost out. Palacio Vistalegre
The Palacio Vistalegre is a multipurpose arena located in Madrid, Spain. It was built on the site of the former bullring, "Plaza de toros de Vista Alegre", built in 1906 and demolished in 1995. The venue is composed of three main spaces: The Arena, The Centre and the Sala San Miguel (formerly known as The Box). 2015 Spanish General Election
The 2015 Spanish general election was held on Sunday, 20 December 2015, to elect the 11th Cortes Generales of the Kingdom of Spain. All 350 seats in the Congress of Deputies were up for election, as well as 208 of 266 seats in the Senate. At exactly four years and one month since the previous general election, this remains the longest timespan between two general elections since the Spanish transition to democracy, and the only time in Spain a general election has been held on the latest possible date allowed under law. Carolina Bescansa
Carolina Bescansa is a Spanish politician and political scientist who co-founded the political party Podemos. She was a representative for Madrid in the Spanish Congress of Deputies from 2016 to 2019. Academic work Bescansa is from Santiago de Compostela. Juan Carlos Monedero Fernández-Gala (born 12 January 1963) is a Spanish political scientist and writer. He is a professor at the Complutense University of Madrid and a host of '' La Tuerka''. He was one of the leading members of Podemos until he resigned in April 2015.
