Ludwig 'Luggi' Müller (25 August 1941 – 24 June 2021) was a German professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career He spent 11 seasons in the Bundesliga with 1. FC Nürnberg, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hertha BSC. International career Müller also played six games for the West Germany national team, including a 1970 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cyprus and five friendlies. Haßfurt
Haßfurt (; English: Hassfurt) is a town in Bavaria, Germany, capital of the Haßberge district. It is situated on the river Main, 20 km east of Schweinfurt and 30 km northwest of Bamberg. In 1852, Ludwig's Western Railway reached the town and between 1892 and 1995, which also had a branch line to Hofheim. The 1867 Hassfurt Bridge, thought to be the first Cantilever bridge built, was also there. 1969–70 Bundesliga
The 1969–70 Bundesliga was the seventh season of the Bundesliga, West Germany's premier football league. It began on 16 August 1969 and ended on 3 May 1970. Bayern Munich were the defending champions. Competition modus Every team played two games against each other team, one at home and one away. Teams received two points for a win and one point for a draw. If two or more teams were tied on points, places were determined by goal difference and, if still tied, by goals scored. The team with the most points were crowned champions while the two teams with the fewest points were relegated to their respective Regionalliga divisions. Team changes to 1968–69 1. FC Nürnberg and Kickers Offenbach were relegated to the Regionalliga after finishing in the last two places.
