''For other people called Ludwig Koch, see Ludwig Koch (other)''. Ludwig Koch (Vienna, 13 December 1866 – 26 November 1934) was an Austrian Painting, painter, Sculpture, sculptor and illustrator. Life Koch became known mainly as a horse and Genre painting, genre painter. He was a guest at the Spanish Riding School for many years, and recorded many of the Airs above the ground, school jumps artistically. In addition, he devoted himself to depictions of military history. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1883 to 1891 and was a pupil of Siegmund L'Allemand and August Eisenmenger. Afterwards he was noted for paintings of Austrian military history, he received the special school prize for the painting ''General Pappenheim'' in 1889. Ludwig Carl Christian Koch
Ludwig Carl Christian Koch (8 November 1825 – 1 November 1908) was a German entomologist and arachnologist. He was born in Regensburg, Germany, and died in Nuremberg, Germany. He studied in Nuremberg, initially law, but then turned to medicine and science. From 1850, he practiced as a physician in the Wöhrd district of Nuremberg. He is considered among the four most influential scientists on insects and spiders in the second half of the 19th century. He wrote numerous works on the arachinoids of Europe, Siberia, and Australia. His work earned him worldwide reputation as "Spider Koch". Sometimes confused with his father Carl Ludwig Koch (1778–1857), another famous arachnologist, his name is abbreviated L.Koch on species descriptions; his father's name is abbreviated C.L.Koch Pierre Bonnet. Ludwig Paul Koch (13 November 1881 – 4 May 1974) was a broadcaster and sound recordist. An expert on recording animal sounds, he played a significant part in increasing the British public's appreciation of wildlife. Biographical details Koch was born into a music-loving Jewish family as Paul Ludwig, and as a boy violinist, he was admitted to Clara Schumann's music circle. Later, he studied singing, and had a short but successful career as a concert singer. This was ended by the outbreak of World War I. As a child, he was given an early phonograph and recorded several animals. His 1889 recording of the song of a white-rumped shama (''Kittacincla malabarica'') is the first-known recording of bird song. Because he spoke fluent French, he joined military intelligence. Natascha Kampusch
Natascha Maria Kampusch (born 17 February 1988) is an Austrian author and former talk show host. At the age of 10, on 2 March 1998, she was abducted and held in a secret cellar by her kidnapper Wolfgang Přiklopil for more than eight years, until she escaped on 23 August 2006. Upon her escape, Přiklopil killed himself by walking in front of a train at a nearby station. She has written a book about her ordeal, ''3,096 Days'' (2010), which was later adapted into the 2013 German film ''3096 Days''. Early life Kampusch was raised by her mother, Brigitta Sirny (née Kampusch), and her father, Ludwig Koch, in Vienna. Kampusch's family included two adult sisters, and five nieces and nephews.
