The Luda Yana ( bg, Луда Яна, "Crazy Yana") is a 74 km-long river in southern Bulgaria, a northern tributary of the Maritsa River. The National Statistical Institute or NSI ( bg, Национален статистически институт or НСИ) is the Bulgarian state agency responsible for the collection and dissemination of statistical data on the population, economy and environment of the country. Strelcha
Strelcha ( bg, Стрелча ) is a small Bulgarian town with a population of 4,284 . The town lies 13 km to the east of Panagyurishte and 41 km to the north of Pazardzhik. It is a capital of homonymous municipality, part of Pazardzhik Province. It is situated in a valley in the southern skirts of the Sredna Gora mountain. The favourable microclimate, nature and mineral water springs, combined with the rich history and natural sights, have turned Strelcha into a national spa resort all around the year. Even if the town's tourism industry has decayed somewhat in the early post-communist period, its tourist product has started to revive in the last couple of years. Popintsi ( bg, Попинци) is a village in southern Bulgaria, part of Panagyurishte municipality, Pazardzhik Province. It is located 17 km south of Panagyurishte and 26 km north of Pazardzhik, on both banks of the Luda Yana River. the population is 2,383. Pazardzhik ( bg, Пазарджик ) is a city situated along the banks of the Maritsa river, southern Bulgaria. It is the capital of Pazardzhik Province and centre for the homonymous Pazardzhik Municipality. The Tatars founded Pazardzhik in the end of the XIV century, which they named it ''Tatar-Pazardzhik''. Sinitovo
Sinitovo () is a village in central Bulgaria. It is located 5 km. east of Pazardzhik. As of 2005 the population was 2160. It is located at an altitude of in a fertile agricultural region near the Maritsa river. The main products grown in the area include wheat, maize, peppers, while the most spread domestic animal is the sheep. The village is mentioned in Ottoman documents from 1576, 1607, 1696. There is a kindergarten, school, chitalishte and a church "Sv. Georgi" from 1884. Many Roman artifacts are found in the vicinity of the village, including marble statues and a bust of a Roman Emperor.
