LucÃa Alberti
LucÃa N. Alberti (born 13 December 1944), is an Argentine radical feminist and politician. She is a leader of the Unión CÃvica Radical (UCR). She was a national deputy for the Unión CÃvica Radical (1985-1989), leader of the Permanent Assembly for Human Rights, and president of the association ''Mujeres por la Paz, el Desarrollo y la Igualdad'' ("Women for Peace, Development, and Equality"). She is currently president of the ''Asociaciones pro Naciones Unidas de América Latina''. Life From mid-1971 to December 1975, she was a member of the Capital Committee of Juventud Radical Revolucionaria ("Radical Revolutionary Youth", JRR). She was one of the leaders of the ''Juventud Radical Trabajadora'' ("Radical Working Youth") within the JRR. The JRR was the only organization that was neither communist nor Peronist that appeared on the first Alianza Anticomunista Argentina blacklist. Radical feminism is a perspective within feminism that calls for a radical re-ordering of society in which male supremacy is eliminated in all social and economic contexts, while recognizing that women's experiences are also affected by other social divisions such as in race, class, and sexual orientation. Carlos Eusebio Florencio Bello Boyland (1815–1854) was a Chilean writer and politician. Biography Bello, the first child of the marriage between Andrés Bello and Mary Ann Boyland, was born in London during his father's stay between 1810 and 1829. Together with the Bello-Dunn family, he arrived at the age of 14 in Chile, where he developed most of his work. He began writing poetry, following the influence of Lord Byron on the literature of the time, as well as some dramas. In 1838 he traveled to Copiapó attracted by the recent discovery of Chañarcillo silver ore. In 1842 he returned to Santiago to premiere the play ''Los amores del poeta'' (1844), which was very well received by the public.
