Lucky Street (album)
''Lucky Street'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Go Radio. Produced by Tim O'Heir and mixed by James Paul Wisner, ''Lucky Street'' was released March 1, 2011 on Fearless Records. Background Vocalist/guitarist Jason Lancaster was a member of Mayday Parade since their 2005 formation, which resulted from a merger between local acts Kid Named Chicago (which featured Lancaster) and Defining Moment. While recording their debut album ''A Lesson in Romantics'', Lancaster left the band in March 2007 citing a lack of writing credit on the band's releases. Sometime afterwards, he formed Go Radio and was joined by bassist Matt Burns, drummer Steven Kopacz and guitarist Tony Planas. They released the ''Welcome to Life'' EP in August 2008, which was followed by the addition of guitarist Alex Reed and a tour with the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Go Radio
Go Radio is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida, formed by former Mayday Parade vocalist, guitarist and lyricist Jason Lancaster in April 2007. The band toured with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, A Day to Remember, as well as Mayday Parade. They played the entire Vans Warped Tour in 2011, and again during 2013, which was their last tour as a band. The band announced that they would break up on October 6, 2013. The disbandment was apparently due to the lead singer, Jason Lancaster, setting priorities and putting his family first. Lancaster said in an interview on ''The Gunz Show'' that the reason for the band's break up was completely false. Jason has no intention of stopping with his music and is writing new music. Lancaster said that he felt ''Go Radio'' had run its course as a band and it was time to move on to the next chapter of his life. Chiodos
Chiodos (, ) was an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan. Formed in 2001, the group was originally known as “The Light-hearted Carpet Knights” before changing their name to "The Chiodos Bros," the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the film ''Killer Klowns from Outer Space''. Swing Life Away
"Swing Life Away" is a song by American punk rock band Rise Against. It is an acoustic ballad, with a sharp guitar sound and optimistic lyrics about daily life and the working class. The song was first included in the 2003 compilation album ''Punk Goes Acoustic'', and was later expanded upon in the band's 2004 album ''Siren Song of the Counter Culture''. The music and lyrics for "Swing Life Away" were written by Rise Against's lead vocalist Tim McIlrath and his roommate Neil Hennessy. The Starting Line
The Starting Line is an American pop punk band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that formed in 1999. History Early years (1999–2001) In 1999, the band that would become The Starting Line was initiated in Churchville, Pennsylvania via an e-mail from guitarist Matthew "Matt" K. The Swellers
The Swellers were an American punk band from Flint, Michigan. Their music is influenced by melodic punk rock bands as well as alternative and indie rock from the 1990s. Band history On June 24, 2002, brothers Nick and Jonathan Diener brought their friend Nate Lamberts from Grand Rapids, MI to Fenton, MI to jam.
