''Lucky Day'' is the sixth studio album released by Jamaican singer Shaggy. It was released on October 29, 2002. The album peaked at number 24 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and later reached Gold certification. Three singles were released from the album: "Hey Sexy Lady", "Strength of a Woman" and "Get My Party On". The album featured guest appearances from Shaggy's longtime collaborators Brian and Tony Gold, as well as a guest appearance from Chaka Khan. Jonathan Edwards (born July 28, 1946) is an American singer-songwriter and musician best known for his 1971 hit single " Sunshine". Early years Jonathan Edwards was born John Evan Edwards on July 28, 1946 in Aitkin, Minnesota. At the age of six, he moved with his family to Virginia where he grew up. At the age of eight, he began singing in church and learning to play piano by ear. While attending Fishburne Military School, he began playing guitar and composing his own songs. As a teenager he began performing in front of audiences. While studying art at Ohio University, he became a fixture at local clubs, playing with a variety of rock, folk, and blues bands. ''The Island of Real'' is the ninth and final studio album by rock band The Rascals, released in 1972. It peaked at number 180 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. The group's final four singles — “Lucky Day,” “Brother Tree,” “Hummin’ Song” and “Jungle Walk” — failed to make the Top 100 and the Rascals disbanded. The album was reissued in 1999 by Sundazed Records with two previously unreleased bonus tracks and also reissued along with '' Peaceful World'' on the BGO label in 2008.
