Andy Luckey
Andrew A. Luckey (born October 7, 1965) is an American animator, artist, author, designer, director, illustrator and television producer, primarily of animated works. He also writes and illustrates children's books and Bible studies. Luckey has produced over 300 hours of programming and was most notably a producer on the 1980s-'90's animated TV series ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' (which earned five Emmy nominations) and ''Adventures from the Book of Virtues''. He is also the author and illustrator of the children's book series ''Spin & Sparkle''. He is the son of animator, director and voice actor Bud Luckey (1934–2018) and a maternal cousin, twice removed, of Animator Earl Hurd (1880–1940) who co-created (with J.R. Bray) and patented the process for Cel Animation—a key component of traditional animation. Bud Luckey
William Everett Luckey (July 28, 1934 – February 24, 2018) was an American animator, artist, cartoonist, composer, illustrator, musician, singer and voice actor. He worked at the animation studio Pixar, where he worked as a character designer on a number of films, including ''Toy Story'', ''Boundin''', ''Toy Story 2'', ''A Bug's Life'', '' Monsters, Inc.'', ''Finding Nemo'', ''Cars'' and ''Ratatouille''. Luckey was also the voice of Rick Dicker in ''The Incredibles'', Chuckles the Clown in ''Toy Story 3'' and as Eeyore in ''Winnie the Pooh'' (2011). In 2004, Luckey directed and wrote the Pixar short film ''Boundin''', for which he also composed music and performed as the solo singer and narrator. It won the Annie Award and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. Henry Carl Luckey (November 22, 1868 – December 31, 1956) was an American Democratic Party politician. He was born on November 22, 1868, near East St. Louis, Illinois. In 1873 he moved to Nebraska settling on a farm with his parents near Columbus, Nebraska. He farmed there from 1894 to 1900. He moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1912. He also passed the bar in 1912 and then pursued a postgraduate course at Columbia University in New York City in 1914 and 1915. He was in the real estate and the construction business from 1917 to 1927, and a member of the board of trustees of Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska from 1919 to 1925. He was elected to the Seventy-fourth United States Congress and reelected to the Seventy-fifth United States Congress. Thomas Walker Luckey (January 6, 1940 – August 19, 2012) was an American architect and sculptor, best known for inventing abstract playgrounds called Luckey Climbers. Luckey also created furniture, merry-go-rounds, and interiors. Life and career After graduating from the Yale School of Architecture in the late 1960s, Luckey began remodeling friends' houses and doing experimental projects, including one described as transforming: In addition to interiors and furniture, he also designed merry-go-rounds; one, inspired by square dances, moves riders from one seat to another as they go around. A mutual friend introduced Luckey to Agnes Gund, who insisted he contact the Boston Children's Museum. After he persuaded officials to let him build his first Luckey Climber, the structure turned out to be one of the museum's most popular exhibits, and has now been replaced with a new version.
