Lucius Hunt
Lucius Hunt is an alternative Australian progressive rock band formed in late 2005. The band has four members: Sean Hayter (guitarist and lead vocalist), Ryan Brown (bassist and vocalist), Mark Eggleton (drums) and Dylan Bell (guitarist and keyboardist). The band hails from south of Brisbane, Queensland, and is recording their second album for the St. Cecilia Record label. The group released their first album titled ''Fear and Desire: The Conflict Within'' which contained 11 tracks in the later part of 2006. History The group formed after the breakup of post-punk hardcore band in May 2005. Prior to this, the band operated as throughout 2004 and released an 8-track self-titled EP. zer0cold disbanded briefly as the members worked on solo projects and participated in other groups of similar standing. Sparta is an American rock band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 2001. The band currently consists of Jim Ward (vocals, guitar) and Matt Miller (bass), who are touring as a three-piece with rotating session drummers. Founding members Ward, Paul Hinojos, and Tony Hajjar were members of post-hardcore group At the Drive-In, forming Sparta in 2001 after the break-up of their former band. The band entered a hiatus from 2008 onwards for Ward to focus on his solo career and side projects, reuniting from 2011 to 2013 for a series of shows and permanently reuniting in 2017. At the Drive-In was an American post-hardcore band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 1994. The band's most recent line-up consisted of Cedric Bixler-Zavala (vocals), Omar Rodríguez-López (guitar, vocals), Paul Hinojos (bass), Tony Hajjar (drums) and Keeley Davis (guitar, vocals). After several early line-up changes, the band solidified into a five-piece, consisting of Bixler-Zavala, Rodríguez-López, Jim Ward, Hinojos and Hajjar. At the Drive-In released three studio albums and five EPs before breaking up in 2001. Their third and final album before their split, 2000's '' Relationship of Command'', received a number of accolades and is cited as a landmark of the post-hardcore genre. The Mars Volta is an American progressive rock band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 2001. The band's only constant members are Omar Rodríguez-López (guitar, producer, direction) and Cedric Bixler-Zavala (vocals, lyrics), whose partnership forms the core of the band. Kyuss
Kyuss ( ) was an American rock band, formed in Palm Desert, California, in 1987. The band disbanded in 1995, and since then, members of Kyuss have gone on to form or play in several notable bands including Queens of the Stone Age, Fu Manchu, Dwarves, Eagles of Death Metal, Mondo Generator, Hermano, Unida, Slo Burn and Them Crooked Vultures. In November 2010, three former members of the band (minus Homme, who declined to participate) reunited under the adapted moniker "Kyuss Lives!" for a world tour with plans to record a new album at some point.
