Lucile Fairbanks (1917–1999) was an American actress who appeared in 11 movies from 1939 to 1942, playing a lead role in ''A Fugitive from Justice'' (1940) and ''Passage from Hong Kong'' (1941). ''A Fugitive from Justice'' is a 1940 film starring Roger Pryor (actor), Roger Pryor, Lucile Fairbanks and Eddie Foy Jr. Plot Fugitive Lee Leslie (Don Douglas, Donald Douglas) is wanted by three groups; the police, the gangsters who fear his testimony in court and the insurance company that carries a $1,000,000 policy on him and is anxious to protect its interests by seeing that Leslie stays alive. The company assigns Dan Miller (Roger Pryor (actor), Pryor) and his partner, Ziggy, (Eddie Foy Jr., Foy) to find Leslie. A night club singer, Ruby Patterson (Sheila Bromley) the beneficiary of his will, tips the gangsters as to his whereabouts. Plot David Jameson lives in a rural town in Maryland. He is forced to flee after he is suspected of murdering Beth Beebe, who tried to force him to marry her although he was engaged to another woman, Daphne Turner.
