Lucila Godey Alcaya
Lucila Godoy Alcayaga (; 7 April 1889 – 10 January 1957), known by her pseudonym Gabriela Mistral (), was a Chilean poet-diplomat, educator and humanist. In 1945 she became the first Latin American author to receive a Nobel Prize in Literature, "for her lyric poetry which, inspired by powerful emotions, has made her name a symbol of the idealistic aspirations of the entire Latin American world". Some central themes in her poems are nature, betrayal, love, a mother's love, sorrow and recovery, travel, and Latin American identity as formed from a mixture of Native American and European influences. Her portrait also appears on the 5,000 Chilean peso bank note. Annia Aurelia Galeria Lucilla or Lucilla (7 March 148 or 150 – 182) was the second daughter of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius and Roman Empress Faustina the Younger. She was the wife of her father's co-ruler and adoptive brother Lucius Verus and an elder sister to later Emperor Commodus. Commodus ordered Lucilla's execution after a failed assassination and coup attempt when she was about 33 years old. Lucila Santos Trujillo (9 July 19284 May 2020) was First Lady of Ecuador to Otto Arosemena from 16 November 1966 to 31 August 1968. Biography Santos was born in Portoviejo, the daughter of Atanasio Santos Chávez, Governor of Manabí Province, and Lucila Trujillo Gutiérrez. In 1947, she married Otto Arosemena in Guayaquil, and the couple had three children. In 1955, they acquired a neocolonial property in Guayaquil and named it Villa Lucile. They sold the property in 1962 and moved to Quito, where Arosemena had been living since 1957 for his political offices. When he became President of Ecuador in 1966, Santos likewise became First Lady and the host of Carondelet Palace during her husband's presidency. In addition to the First Lady's traditional role as president of the National Institute for Children and the Family, Santos promoted the "One School a Day" program, which built schools across Ecuador. Leona Lucila Vidal Roberts (born 1972) is a Falkland Islands curator, radio broadcaster and politician who has served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Stanley constituency since the 2017 general election. She previously served as Director and Manager of the Falkland Islands Museum and National Trust.
