Adligenswil is a municipality in Lucerne District in Canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. It is east of the city of Lucerne and borders on canton Schwyz. Geography Adligenswil is a spread out community on the north side of the valley of the Würzenbach river. to the south-west, the Würzenbach flows into Lake Luzerne. Marcel Käufeler (born 19 January 1994 in Wettingen, Switzerland) is a retired Swiss curler. Career Käufeler joined the Yannick Schwaller rink at lead for the 2016–17 season. The team also included Romano Meier at third and Reto Keller at second. The team did not have very much success in their first season together and the teams second Reto Keller was replaced Käufeler's junior skip Michael Brunner for the 2017–18 season. Team Schwaller won their first tour event at the 2017 Qinghai International, losing only one game en route to claiming the title. They also reached the finals of both the DeKalb Superspiel and the Aberdeen International Curling Championship as well as the semifinals of the Oakville Fall Classic and the German Masters. The team also had a strong performance at the 2018 Swiss Men's Curling Championship, finishing the round robin in first place with a 9–1 record. Romano Meier (born 14 April 1995 in Baden) is a Swiss curler from Ehrendingen. He currently plays second on Team Michael Brunner. Career Juniors In 2012, Meier represented Switzerland for the first time internationally at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics. The team also included Michael Brunner, Elena Stern and Lisa Gisler. The team finished the round robin with a 6–1 record and then won all three of their playoff games to secure the gold medal.
