Luciano Luci
Luciano Luci (born August 2, 1949 in Campiglia Marittima). He is a retired football referee from Italy. He has refereed in the Serie A since 1985. His first match was played between A.C. Milan and S.S. Lazio on 12 May. Since then, he has refereed 105 matches in the Serie A (and 107 in Serie B). As an assistant referee he joined UEFA in the later 1980s in 25 international matches. Campiglia Marittima is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Livorno in the Italian region Tuscany, located about southwest of Florence and about southeast of Livorno. Its toponym has been attested for the first time in 1004 as ''Campiglia'' and derives from the Latin ''campus'' ("field"). In 1862 the word ''marittima'' (from Latin ''Maritima'') was added to underline its belonging to the Maremma, the area washed by Tyrrhenian Sea. The ("Italy Cup") is an annual knockout cup competition in Italian football organized by the FIGC until the 2009–10 season and the Lega Serie A ever since. History The beginning of the tournament was turbulent, due to the complexity of the participation of the teams in the tournament, since its inception in 1921, the Italian championship was divided into two groups. On the one hand the CCI Championship (Italian Football Confederation) and on the other the FIGC championship ( Italian Football Federation). These two championships were not organized between them, so they could not manage the dates that allowed the normal course of the tournament.
