Martha Susan McEntire-Eaton (formerly Luchsinger; born November 8, 1957) is an American contemporary Christian music singer. She is the younger sister of Reba, Alice, and Pake. John Luchsinger (June 29, 1839 – April 23, 1922) was an American jurist, legislator, writer, and pioneer from Wisconsin. Born in the Canton of Glarus, Switzerland, Luchsinger came to the United States with his family. They lived in Syracuse, New York Syracuse ( ) is a City (New York), city in and the county seat of Onondaga County, New York, Onondaga County, New York, United States. Together with Ernst Reiss, he made the first ascent of Lhotse (8,516 m), the fourth highest mountain in the world, on 18 May 1956. Richard Luchsinger (1900–1993) was a Swiss medical doctor who made early contributions to the field of Speech Language Pathology, specifically in "phoniatry" or the study of voice. He was born in Switzerland and specialized in otorhinolaryngology. His most notable contribution to the field of voice was a textbook that he published with Dr. Gottfried E. Arnold. The textbook was originally published in German, however the second edition, published in 1965, was translated into English under the title: ''Voice-Speech-Language''. Luchsingen is a village, and former municipality, in the municipality of Glarus Süd and canton of Glarus in Switzerland. History Luchsingen is first mentioned in 1274 as ''Luchsingen''. In 2004 the former municipalities of Hätzingen and Diesbach were merged into the municipality of Luchsingen.
