This is a list of the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) roster, organized by role within the promotion. The alias (ring name) of the employee is written on the left, while the employee's real name is on the right. If a wrestler is inactive for any reason (due to injury, suspension, not wrestling for 30 days or other), that information is noted in the notes section. Other wrestlers have made guest appearances, especially North American wrestlers who have made special guest appearances, but unless they work a series of shows for AAA they will not be listed as part of the general roster. Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide
Antonio Peña Promotions, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. Commonly referred to as simply AAA (pronounced "triple A"; an abbreviation of its original name Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, Spanish for "Assistance, Assessment, and Administration"), the promotion was founded in 1992 when Antonio Peña broke away from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to set up a promotion, which allowed him more creative freedom. Broderick Shepherd (born 9 December 1992) is an Australian professional wrestler, best known by the ring name Australian Suicide who is currently working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he is the former AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. Before arriving in Mexico, Shepherd competed in other independent companies in both Australia and the United States under the name Ryan Rollins. AAA World Cruiserweight Championship
The AAA World Cruiserweight Championship (Campeonato Mundial Crucero AAA in Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship contested for in the Mexican lucha libre promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). The championship cannot be competed for by anyone who is over the Cruiserweight division weight limit of . Traditionally this division is labelled as the "Junior Heavyweight" division in Mexico while "Cruiserweight" is a term more used in the United States or Canada. The championship was originally named the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. but had the word "world" added to the name after El Hijo del Fantasma won a match on August 17, 2014, that unified the championship with the AAA Fusión Championship. The AAA Latin American Championship (''Campeonato Latinoamericano AAA'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship promoted by the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion in Mexico. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition. History The title was first announced on May 18, 2011, as part of a storyline, where wrestlers from American promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) invaded AAA. It was revealed that on June 18 at ''Triplemanía'' XIX AAA's Dr. Wagner Jr. would face TNA's Rob Van Dam for the newly created AAA Latin American Championship. Rey Fénix (born December 30, 1990) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestler) signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he is current double champion as the Latin American and World Cruiserweight Champion. DMT Azul (born December 20, 1982) is the best known ring name of a Mexican ''Luchador Enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. Azul is best known for his time in Mexican professional wrestling promotion ''Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre'' (CMLL). He originally wrestled under the ring name El Romano but in 2009 he was given a new name and mask, Metro, a ring name that had been used by at least three other CMLL wrestlers before 2009.
