Lucas Filipe da Silva Dias (born January 18, 2003) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Sporting CP B. Early life Born in Toronto, Dias is of Portuguese descent through both sets of grandparents. He began playing house league soccer at age four in Woodbridge. In 2011, he joined the new Sporting Academy Toronto, which was affiliated with Portuguese club Sporting CP, playing two years up. He attracted the attention of the Portuguese club, being invited for brief training stint's with the club's academy when he was nine, later joining the academy permanently at age 11, becoming the first player to move from the Toronto academy to the Portuguese academy. He signed a professional contract with the club at age 16. 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The 2022 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship will be the 7th edition of the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship (28th edition if all eras included), the men's under-20 international football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It will be hosted in Honduras, in the cities of San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa. On 16 September 2021, a new format was announced, in which 19 member associations (all ranked 17 and below in the CONCACAF men’s under-20 rankings) will have to play a qualifying tournament that will take place from 5 to 13 November 2021 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Canada Men's National Under-20 Soccer Team
The Canada U-20 men's national soccer team (also known as Canada Under-20s or Canada U-20s) represents Canada in international soccer at this age level. They are overseen by the Canadian Soccer Association, the governing body for soccer in Canada. The 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship was the fifteenth and final edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying, the quadrennial, international, age-restricted football tournament organised by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament.
