Lucas da Silva Lucas known as Lucas Silva or just Lucas (born 25 November 1980) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Nacional (AM). Biography Lucas signed a 3-year contract with Paulista FC in 2003. In September 2005 he was signed by Juventude. In August 2006 he was signed by Remo, re-joining Paulista team-mate Julinho He played 2 seasons in 2008 Brazilian second division as first choice right-back, replacing Marquinhos. In January 2008 he left for Sertãozinho until the end of São Paulo state championship. In April 2008 he was signed by Gama until the end of 2008 Brazilian second division, playing along with his namesake Lucas. After the club relegated, he signed a new 1-year deal. In June 2009 he returned to Paulista FC in 1-year deal. The club also re-signed Julinho early in May. He played in Brazilian fourth division and 2010 São Paulo state championship. 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, namely the second level of Brazilian football league system, was contested by 20 teams in 2008. Giants Corinthians played Série B for the first time after its poor season in Série A in 2007. Also, former Série A champions Bahia returned from Série C. The tournament started on May 9 and Corinthians begun defeating CRB 3-2 in São Paulo. Due to its tradition and huge number of supporters, Corinthians attracted most of the attention from the media. The club won the first six matches and never left the top of the table. Promotion came on round 32 - six matches before the end of season - after defeating Ceará 2-0 in São Paulo. They were crowned champions two rounds later, beating Criciúma 2-0 as visitors. Avaí was the second team to reach Série A as they defeated Brasiliense 1-0 on Round 35. Sertãozinho is a Brazilian municipality in the state of São Paulo. The population in 2020 was about 127,142. Its area is 403 km2. The municipality consists of Sertãozinho city and two districts: Cruz das Posses and Vila Garcia. Sertãozinho is 325 km from São Paulo and 702 km from Brasília. The Copa do Brasil ( en, Brazil Cup) is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District.
