Lucas Balmaceda
Lux Balmaceda Pascal (born 4 June 1992) is an American-born Chilean actress and transgender activist. Biography Born in California as Lucas Balmaceda, she is the child of José Balmaceda and Verónica Pascal, both Chileans exiled after the 1973 coup, because her mother was the cousin of Andrés Pascal Allende, leader of the Chilean Revolutionary Left Movement. She was the last of four siblings, among whom is the actor Pedro Pascal. At the age of three she returned to Chile with her parents and brother Nicolás. In Chile she studied at Saint George's College, and in 2010 she entered to study theater at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She revealed she is a transgender woman in February 2021, changing her name to Lux Pascal, taking her maternal surname. Since 2011, she has been in a relationship with the actor José Antonio Raffo.
