Luca Mazzitelli
Luca Mazzitelli (born 15 November 1995) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for club Como, on loan from Frosinone. Club career Roma and loans Mazzitelli is a youth exponent from Roma. He made his Serie A debut on 18 May 2014 in a 1-0 away defeat against Genoa. On 10 July 2015, Mazzitelli was loaned out from Roma to Brescia in search of more playing time. Mazzitelli experience with Brescia was successful due to him being the first choice Central Midfield from the beginning of the season. He then was able to put on great displays on the pitch and gained attention from clubs in the first division. Sassuolo and loans On 1 February 2016, Sassuolo confirmed the permanent signing of Mazzitelli from Roma for €3.5 million; the player will however remain on loan with Brescia until 30 June 2016. Frosinone Calcio
Frosinone Calcio () is an Italian football club based in Frosinone, Lazio. The club was founded on 5 March 1906 under the name Unione Sportiva Frusinate, but conventionally the year 1928 is indicated as the beginning of competitive activities of significant importance. Following cancellation by the Italian Football Federation, it was refounded in 1959 and in 1990. In the 2014–15 season the club played in Serie B for the sixth time in its history. The 2020–21 Serie B (known as the Serie BKT for sponsorship reasons) was the 89th season of the Serie B since its establishment in 1929. It started on 25 September 2020 and ended on 10 May 2021. On 5 November 2020, Serie B announced it would use VAR from the second half of the season. However, it was used only on promotion play-off matches. DAZN broadcast all matches live domestically, with MyCujoo further distributing games in 15 countries. 2019–20 Serie B
The 2019–20 Serie B (known as Serie BKT for sponsorship reasons) was the 88th season since its establishment in 1929. The 20-team format returned after 16 years, the last time being in the 2002–03 season. The season was scheduled to run from 23 August 2019 to 14 May 2020, though on 9 March 2020, the Italian government halted the league until 3 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy. Serie B did not resume play on this date. On 18 May, it was announced that Italian football would be suspended until 14 June. On 28 May, it was announced that Serie B would resume starting from 20 June. Teams After one season with 19 clubs, Serie B was played in a 20-team format for the first time since the 2002–03 season. Among the five promoted teams, Pordenone is the only one to have never played Serie B before. 2015–16 Serie B
The 2015–16 Serie B (known as the Serie B ConTe.it for sponsorship reasons) was the 84th season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 16 returning from the 2014–15 season, 4 promoted from Lega Pro, and 2 relegated from Serie A. Vacancies created by the bankruptcy of Serie A-relegated Parma and the demotion of Catania to Lega Pro due to match fixing allowed Brescia to remain in the league despite being relegated. Furthermore, Teramo was due to participate to Serie B but due to the allegations for match-fixing, the Courts decided to relegate Teramo in the last place of Lega Pro of the previous season. After the demotion of Catania, Virtus Entella was readmitted into Serie B as the best team of the relegated teams from the previous season.
