Lubricant
A lubricant (sometimes shortened to lube) is a substance that helps to reduce friction between surfaces in mutual contact, which ultimately reduces the heat generated when the surfaces move. It may also have the function of transmitting forces, transporting foreign particles, or heating or cooling the surfaces. The property of reducing friction is known as lubricity. In addition to industrial applications, lubricants are used for many other purposes. Other uses include cooking (oils and fats in use in frying pans, in baking to prevent food sticking), bioapplications on humans (e.g. lubricants for artificial joints), ultrasound examination, medical examination, and sexual intercourse. Personal lubricants (colloquially termed lube) are specialized lubricants used during sexual acts, such as intercourse and masturbation, to reduce friction to or between the penis and vagina, anus or other body parts or applied to sex toys to reduce friction or to ease penetration. Lube Motorcycles
Founded in 1947, Lube Motorcycles was a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer, based in Barakaldo. Their motorcycles used engines from NSU Motorenwerke AG, NSU, another motorcycle manufacturer. History In 1947, the engineer Luis Bejarano Morga founded the company Lube-Nsu in Luchana (Barakaldo). Luis had been an engineer in Douglas (motorcycles), Douglas (Bristol) for nearly thirty years, this work providing the experience needed for the adventure. The company agreed with Douglas the supply of steel, but the agreement brought no results, because of the English company entering bankruptcy. In 1946 he had designed a bike called LBM (following the initials of its founder: Luis Bejarano Morga), later on, he was making improvements and began the series A-99. Lyube ( rus, Любэ́, p=lʲʉˈbɛ) is a Russian rock band from Lyubertsy, a city in Moscow Oblast. Lyube's music is a mixture of several genres, with influences from both Russian folk music, rock, Russian chanson, and Soviet military songs. The band was founded in 1989, and since then have released sixteen albums. Lyube's producer and main songwriter is Igor Matviyenko. History Igor Matviyenko was a music producer and composer working at the Soviet music studio SPM Record when he came up with the idea to start Lyube in 1988. His goal was to put together a band with patriotic themed songs and a strong male vocal. After devoting time to finding the right frontman, Matvienko chose Nikolay Rastorguyev, with whom he had worked earlier in the band "Leysia, pesnia" (russian: Лейся, песня, links=no). Associazione Sportiva Volley Lube is a professional volleyball team based in Treia, Italy. Since 1995 the club has been playing in the Serie A of the Italian Volleyball League.
