Ločica pri Vranskem () is a settlement in the Municipality of Vransko in central Slovenia. It lies at the crossroads of the regional roads leading to Kamnik, Celje, and Ljubljana in the valley of Bolska Creek, a right tributary of the Savinja River. The Slovenian A1 motorway passes just east of the village core. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. It includes the hamlets of Bistrica, Brce, Jakov Dol, and Osredek. Name The name of the settlement was changed from ''Ločica'' to ''Ločica pri Vranskem'' in 1953. Ljubljana
Ljubljana (also known by other historical names) is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the country's cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative center. A1 Motorway (Slovenia)
The A1 motorway ( sl, avtocesta A1), also known as Slovenika, is long, connecting Šentilj (at the Austrian border) and Koper/Capodistria (on the shores of the Adriatic Sea). It connects several of the largest metropolitan areas of the country, including Maribor, Celje and Ljubljana, all the way to the Slovenian Littoral and port town of Koper. Construction began in 1970 and the first section was finished in 1972, connecting Vrhnika and Postojna. Everyday operation of this initial stretch started on 29 December 1972. The connection to Koper was finished on 23 November 2004. The second-to-last part, from Trojane to Blagovica, was opened on 12 August 2005. Savinja
The Savinja () is a river in northeast Slovenia which flows mostly in the Upper and Lower Savinja Valley ( sl, Zgornja in Spodnja Savinjska dolina) and through the cities of Celje and Laško.
