Loïc Maes is a Belgian video director. He collaborates on a regular basis with top photographers Nick Knight, Steven Meisel, and Pierre Debuscschere for platinum brands including Issey Miyake, Balenciaga, Hermes, Marni, Max Factor, Y-3, Hugo Boss, and Range Rover. In beauty work, Loic often partners with hip-hop superstar director Collin Tilley for artists including Mary J Blige, Keri Hilson, Ciara, Nicki Minaj, P Diddy, Melanie Fiona, Diddy Dirty Money, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Ne-Yo. As a director, Loic has developed a unique style that's sexy, edgy and full of fantasy. Nicholas David Gordon Knight OBE (born 24 November 1958) is a British fashion photographer and founder and director of SHOWstudio.com. He is an honorary professor at University of the Arts London and was awarded an honorary Ph.D. by the same university. He has produced books of his work including retrospectives ''Nicknight'' (1994) and ''Nick Knight'' (2009). In 2016, Knight's 1992 campaign photograph for fashion brand Jil Sander was sold by Phillips auction house at the record-breaking price of HKD 2,360,000. Life and career Knight was born in Hammersmith, London. He studied photography at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and published his first book of photographs 'Skinhead' in 1982 when he was still a student at the school. Ten Miles
"Ten Miles" is a song by the Danish pop band Infernal. It was released in 2006 as the second single from the international edition of '' From Paris to Berlin'', and as the sixth single overall. The song became a moderate success in the dance music charts in Denmark, Spain and Finland. In Spain it peaked at #26 and in Denmark at #3 in the Danish Dance Chart. In April 2006, "Ten Miles" debuted in the French Airplay Chart at #84. In September 2007 at Infernal's official UK website, they stated that their fourth UK single would be "Ten Miles" and the music video was released, receiving as of July 2008 over 1 million views on YouTube. It gradually became an unexpected hit for the duo - passing the peak of their previous single " I Won't Be Crying" in Europe, even though there was no physical release for the song. "I Won't Be Crying" is the Danish dance band Infernal's 3rd single released in the UK. "I Won't Be Crying" peaked #1 at the TV-channel The Voice TV Danmark. The music video was directed by Loic Maes and shot in Paris. This is their most viewed video on YouTube, 3 million views . The song heavily samples " Strangelove", a 1987 song by the English band Depeche Mode. The UK release date was set to be 21 May 2007. According to the band's website it would have guaranteed them a UK tour, if this single reached #1. The CD single release was cancelled in the UK, due to an apparent lack of media support. "Born This Way" is a song by American singer Lady Gaga, and the lead single from her second studio album of the same name.
