Lozen
Lozen (c. 1840 – June 17, 1889) was a warrior and prophet of the Chihenne Chiricahua Apache. She was the sister of Victorio, a prominent chief. Born into the Chihenne band during the 1840s, Lozen was, according to legends, able to use her powers in battle to learn the movements of the enemy. According to James Kaywaykla, Victorio introduced her to Nana, "Lozen is my right hand ... strong as a man, braver than most, and cunning in strategy. Lozen is a shield to her people". Victorio's Campaign In the 1870s, Victorio and his band of Apaches were moved to the deplorable conditions of the San Carlos Reservation in Arizona. He and his followers left the reservation around 1877 and began marauding and raiding, all while evading capture by the military. Lozen fought beside Victorio when he and his followers rampaged against Americans who had appropriated their homeland around west New Mexico's Black Mountain. Mount Lozen
Mount Francis () is a massive, ridgelike mountain, high, that overlooks Tucker Glacier from the north, standing between Tyler Glacier and Staircase Glacier in the Admiralty Mountains of Antarctica. Exploration and name Mount Francis was mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and United States Navy air photos, 1960–62. It was named by the United States Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Henry S. Francis, Jr., Director of the International Cooperation and Information Program at the Office of Antarctic Programs, National Science Foundation. Francis wintered-over at Little America V Station in 1958 and made visits to Antarctica in other seasons. Lozen Nunatak
Lozen Nunatak ( bg, Лозенски нунатак, Lozenski nunatak, ) is a 440m hill in upper Huron Glacier, Livingston Island. It is part of a minor ridge in the north foothills of Tangra Mountains including also Erma Knoll and Aheloy Nunatak, and linked to Zograf Peak by Lozen Saddle. The hill was first visited on 17 December 2004 by the Bulgarian Lyubomir Ivanov from Camp Academia. It is named after the Lozen Monastery of St. Spas (Holy Saviour) in western Bulgaria. The Lozen Monastery of St. Spas ( bg, Лозенски манастир „Свети Спас“) in the village of Lozen is a Bulgarian monastery built during the Second Bulgarian Empire. It is the easternmost monastery from the spectacular 13th-century monastery complex '' Mala Sveta Gora''. The monastery is called “Sveti Spas” (Holy Saviour) after the day of The Ascension of Jesus (Spasovden) (there is no saint with the name of Spas). Strazhitsa Municipality ( bg, Община Стражица ) is a municipality (''obshtina'') in Veliko Tarnovo Province, north-central Bulgaria, located mostly in the Danubian Plain but also covering parts of the so-called Fore-Balkan. Bocholt, Belgium
Bocholt (; li, Bóggetj) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. On January 1, 2021, Bocholt had a total population of 13,144. The total area is 59.34 km2 which gives a population density of 208 inhabitants per km2. Besides the historical Bocholt centre, it also includes the parishes of Kaulille, Reppel and Lozen. The Priory of Our Lady of Klaarland of the Trappistins is located in Bocholt. Martens brewery, established in 1758, has the second highest production capacity in Belgium at 360 million litres per year. The town is home to Achilles Bocholt handball club. Also, the town is known for its historical event in 1910, when the church tower was lifted off its fundaments and moved 9,40 metres, in order to enlarge the church itself, because of it becoming too small to take in the crowd.
