David Lowman (intelligence Official)
David Daniel Lowman (1921-1999) was a National Security Agency employee, an expert witness in the case that overturned Hirabayashi v. United States, and the author of the posthumously published book ''MAGIC: The Untold Story of U.S. Intelligence and the Evacuation of Japanese Residents from the West Coast during World War II''. Biography Lowman was a career officer in the National Security Agency. In the 1970s Lowman worked on the declassification of World War II Japanese cable traffic decrypted by the Magic program. Based on his reading of those cables, he criticized the Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians for its conclusion that there had been "no military necessity" in relocating Japanese-Americans into internment camps. David Lowman (priest)
David Walter Lowman (born 27 November 1948) is a British Church of England priest. From 2013 to 2016, he was the Archdeacon of Chelmsford. He was Archdeacon of Southend from 2001 to 2013; the archdeaconry was renamed in February 2013 and he continued to serve it under is new name. Early life Lowman was born on 27 November 1948. He was educated at Crewkerne School and the City of London College. Ordained ministry Lowman was ordained in 1976. After curacies in Notting Hill and Kilburn he was vocations adviser at Church House, Westminster, from 1981 to 1986. He was team rector at Wickford and Runwell from 1986 to 1993. He was then Diocesan Director of Ordinands and a non-residentiary canon of Chelmsford Cathedral from 1993 to 2013. Guy Sumner Lowman (May 1877 – September 14, 1943) was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach and a player of baseball. He served as the head football coach at Warrensburg Teachers College—now the University of Central Missouri (1907), the University of Alabama (1910), Kansas State University (1911–1914), and the University of Wisconsin–Madison (1918). Moses Lowman
Moses Lowman (1680–1752) was an English nonconformist minister, known as a Biblical commentator. Life Born in London, he became a student at the Middle Temple in 1697, but a year later abandoned law for divinity. On 17 September 1698 he entered the university of Leyden, and studied theology at Utrecht under Gerard de Vries and Witsius. In 1710 he became assistant to Mr. Grace, presbyterian minister at Clapham; from 1714 till his death Lowman acted as chief minister to the congregation there. In 1716 Lowman contributed to the second volume of the religious periodical called ‘Occasional Papers,’ and in 1735 he preached, at Salters' Hall a sermon entitled ‘The Principles of Popery Schismatical.’ Though very active, he does not seem to have shown ability as a preacher. Lowman died on 2 May 1752; Samuel Chandler preached his funeral sermon. Nate Lowman (born 1979 in Las Vegas Valley) is an American artist working in the genre of pop art. He grew up in Idyllwild–Pine Cove, California, Idyllwild, CA where he graduated from Idyllwild Arts Academy. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from New York University in 2001. While studying, Lowman worked as a security guard at Dia Art Foundation, Dia:Chelsea. The first solo exhibition of his work in New York City was held in 2009 at the Maccarone Gallery. Seymour Lowman
Seymour Lowman (October 7, 1868 – March 13, 1940) was an American lawyer and politician from the state of New York. He was also Lieutenant Governor of New York from 1925 to 1926. Life Seymor Lowman was born in Chemung, New York on October 7, 1868, the son of John Lowman (1832–1884) and Fanny (Bixby) Lowman. He was raised in Bainbridge, and completed his high school education at Bainbridge Union School. He then graduated from Lowell's Business College in Binghamton, and became a school teacher. He studied law with attorney John W. Church of Norwich, was admitted to the bar in 1891, and practiced in Elmira. On September 9, 1893, he married Katherine Harding Smith, whom he had known while growing up in Bainbridge. Lowman became active in local politics as a supporter of the campaigns of Jacob Sloat Fassett.
