"Lowlife" is a song by American singer Poppy (singer), Poppy (under her former stage name "That Poppy"), from her 2016 EP ''Bubblebath (EP), Bubblebath''. It was released by Island Records on July 24, 2015, as the first single from the EP. The song's music video has since amassed over 69 million views on YouTube, becoming Poppy's first song to gain wide attention. A remix of the song by Travis Mills was released on October 16, 2015 and another by Slushii on April 29, 2016. Music video A music video for the song, directed by Poppy's former collaborator Titanic Sinclair was released on July 24, 2015 by ''Teen Vogue''. The video features cameos from Brandon Burtis, Matt Bennett, Jimmy Redhawk James and Rene Napoli. It has since amassed over 68 million views on YouTube. Moriah Rose Pereira (born January 1, 1995), known professionally as Poppy and formerly as That Poppy, is an American singer, songwriter, YouTuber, and performance artist. In 2014, she gained viral video, viral fame by starring in Surrealism, surreal performance art videos on YouTube as an uncanny valley-like Android (robot), android who commented on and satirised internet culture and modern society. She signed a recording contract with Island Records in 2015 and released her debut Pop music, pop EP ''Bubblebath (EP), Bubblebath'' in 2016. In 2017, Poppy signed a deal with Mad Decent and released her debut studio album ''Poppy.Computer'', which consisted of art pop and bubblegum pop songs. To promote the album, she embarked on the Poppy.Computer Tour. In 2018, she released the pilot for the proposed surreal comedy online series ''I'm Poppy'' on YouTube Premium.
