Low-life
A low-life (or lowlife) is a term for a person who is considered morally unacceptable by their community. Examples of people society often labels low-lives include aggressive panhandlers, bullies, criminals, drug dealers, freeloaders, hobos, gangsters, people who make constant use of profanities, prostitutes, pimps, scammers, sexual abusers and thieves. Often, the term is used as an indication of disapproval of antisocial or destructive behaviors, usually bearing a connotation of contempt and derision. This usage of the word dates to 1911. The long-term origins of the ideas behind this in the Western world trace back to ancient times with the distinction of high culture associated with aristocracy at the top of the social hierarchy who were regarded in aristocrat-dominated society as compared with low culture associated with commoners at the bottom of the social hierarchy that included many impoverished people among them. John Eddie (born 1959, Richmond, Virginia) is an American rock singer. Eddie moved to New Jersey in the 1970s and became a popular club circuit musician there, occasionally performing with Bruce Springsteen. Music career John's first studio presence was singing backing vocals on Bryan Adams' song "Somebody" on the 1984 album '' Reckless''. John then signed with Columbia Records and released two albums including his 1986 self-titled debut, '' John Eddie''. ''The Good, The Bad & The 4-Skins'' is the first album by English punk rock/Oi! band, The 4-Skins. Released in June 1982 on Secret Records, the album topped the UK independent and punk charts, and entered the Top 100 of the UK Albums Chart. Side A of the original LP contained studio recordings, and Side B featured live versions of several previously released songs. The album was later combined with follow-up release, '' A Fistful Of...4-Skins'' (omitting the track "One Law for Them" due to space limitations) and released on a single CD by Link Records in 1987 as ''A Few 4-Skins More, Vol.1''. Despite being The 4-Skins' debut LP, it was in fact recorded by the third stable line-up of the band, with bassist Hoxton Tom McCourt being the sole member of the original 1979 line-up. ''Low Life'' is the first EP from British darkwave band Massive Ego. It was a collaboration with the Irish electronic group Empire State Human. It was released on Marc Massive's own independent label, ''Public Disordar Records'', on 20 October 2014. Two singles preceded the album, and two singles donated profits from their release to animal charities. Two music videos were released to promote the EP; ''Sound of the Download'' and ''Low Life'' Background In 2014, Massive Ego began collaborating with Irish electronic band, Empire State Human, and on 4 February, ''Sound of the Download'' was released as a digital single.
