Low Ji Wen
Low Ji Wen (, born October 27, 1989) is a Singaporean former professional road racing cyclist. Career Early life and career Low was born at Thomson Medical Centre in Singapore to Lee Tang Yin, a general practitioner, and Low Wye Mun, a Sports Medicine physician. His siblings are Ji Zhen, a veterinarian and Ji Yin, an early childhood educator. Low's name, which means "to follow in his father's footsteps", was given to him by his grandfather, Lee Ting Hui, an author and poet. Low attended Anglo-Chinese School (Junior), Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) and Anglo-Chinese Junior College. He began cycling professionally in July 2004 and after completing one year of junior college studies, he left the school to focus on his career in cycling. He was previously a member of LeTua Cycling Team and Team Guemsan Ginseng Asia. Low was crowned 2005 Singapore Men's Junior National Champion in the Under-19 category. 2013 Tour De Langkawi
The 2013 Tour de Langkawi was the 18th edition of the Tour de Langkawi, a cycling stage race that took place in Malaysia. The LTdL 2013, which carries the slogan "Can You Feel The Heat?" and "The Heat is On!", was officially begun on 21 February in Kangar and ended on 2 March in Kuala Terengganu. The race was sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) as a 2.HC (hors category) race on the 2012–13 UCI Asia Tour calendar. The race was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, via the National Sports Council (NSC) in association with the Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF). The Tour of Japan is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Japan since 1996 as part of the UCI Asia Tour. It is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.1 category race. History Tour of Japan was formed as the successor of the Kokusai Cycle Road Race which began in 1982. In 1996, Tour of Japan began as a UCI category 2-5 stage race, and became category 2–4 in 1997. It was downgraded to category 2–5 in 2002. Tour De Langkawi
The Tour de Langkawi is a multiple stage bicycle race held in Malaysia. It is named after the archipelago Langkawi, where the first edition started and finished. The race has been held annually since 1996, primarily in February. It usually consists of 10-day-long segments (stages) over 10 days, but has been reduced to eight stages over recent years. While the route changes each year, the Genting Highlands climb, the toughest in the tour, is always included. Tour de Langkawi is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.HC road race in the UCI Asia Tour calendar. The race will become part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020.
