David Lovell (born 24 September 1983) is a Bermudian cricketer. Lovell is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast. Lovell made a single first-class appearance for Bermuda in 2009 in the Intercontinental Shield against Uganda at the National Stadium, Hamilton. Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat first, making 91 all out in their first-innings, with Lovell being dismissed for 2 runs by Frank Nsubuga. In response, Uganda made 119 all out in their first-innings, with bowling four wicketless overs. Bermuda then made 138 all out in their second-innings, with Lovell scoring 17 runs from 42 balls before he was dismissed by Charles Waiswa. Uganda won the match by seven wickets. Henry Lovell
Henry Lovell (June 13, 1828 – December 4, 1907) was a Canadian politician. Born in Barnston, Stanstead County, Lower Canada, the son of William Lovell and Mary Hanson, Lovell was a farmer and merchant. He moved to Coaticook, Quebec in 1867. He was a municipal councilor in Coaticook from 1876 to 1885 and again from 1888 to 1891. He was mayor from 1874 to 1875 and from 1886 to 1887. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Quebec in 1878 for the riding of Stanstead. A Quebec Liberal, he was defeated in 1881 and 1886. He was elected to the House of Commons of Canada for Stanstead in 1900. A Liberal, he was re-elected in 1904. He died while in office in 1907. His son, Charles Henry Lovell, was elected in the 1908 by-election following the death of his father. Harold Lovell
Harold Earl Edmund Lovell (born September 27, 1955) is a politician from Antigua and Barbuda. He was the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Public Administration. He was also the minister of tourism and civil aviation. He was the Foreign Minister of Antigua and Barbuda from August 2004 to January 2005, when Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer took over those posts in a cabinet reshuffle, giving Lovell his current posts. Glenville Lovell (born 1955) is a Barbadian writer, dancer, novelist and playwright. Lovell was born in a Chattel house in Parish Land, Christ Church, Barbados and grew up around rich storytelling among the sugar cane workers. His first novel, ''Fire in the Canes'' was published in 1995 and was met with critical acclaim. So too was his second novel, ''Song of Night'', published in 1998. George William Lovell
George William Lovell (1804 – 13 May 1878) was an English dramatist and novelist. His most successful play was '' The Wife's Secret'', staged at the Haymarket Theatre with Charles Kean and his wife Ellen in the principal roles, and revived several times. Life Lovell was for many years secretary of the Phœnix Insurance Company, but devoted his leisure to writing plays. His first play was ''The Avenger'', produced at the Surrey Theatre in 1835, when Samuel Butler represented the chief character. This was followed by ''The Provost of Bruges'', with William Macready as the hero, at Covent Garden in February 1836. The play was founded on ''The Serf'', a story in Leitch Ritchie's ''Romance of History'', and attained great popularity. Fulton Lovell
Fulton Lovell (August 3, 1913 – September 23, 1980), a native and resident of Rabun County, Georgia, was the director of the Georgia Game and Fish Commission from 1949 until 1963. During his tenure as Game and Fish chief, he directed successful efforts to re-establish wild turkey and white-tailed deer throughout much of Georgia. These game species had been virtually eliminated from Georgia forests due to over-hunting and habitat destruction during the early part of the twentieth century. In the early 1960s, Lovell envisioned a camping and recreation area on Lake Burton to serve an increasing number of boaters and fishermen on the scenic Blue Ridge Mountain reservoir, and land acquisition efforts soon began. Frank Lovell
Frank Lovell (July 24, 1913 – May 1, 1998) was an American communist politician. Lovell was born in Ipava, a town situated in the farming district of Illinois. Lovell studied psychology at the University of California in Berkeley. After he had left the campus, Lovell earned his living as a seaman, chiefly on the West Coast of the United States. In the 1930s, Lovell came into contact with Trotskyist movement led by James P. Cannon and he became one of the first members of the Socialist Workers Party, and in 1942 he was elected to its ''National Committee''. As a seaman, Lovell was active in the ''Sailors Union of the Pacific'' and the leader of many strikes.
