Rosa María Juana Martínez Suárez (born 23 February 1927), known by her stage name Mirtha Legrand (″Legrand″ being a portmanteau for the French , "the great") is an Argentine actress and television presenter. With an 80-year career, Legrand is one of the most recognized entertainment figures in Argentina. Despite having appeared in 36 films and 20 theatrical performances, Legrand is best known for her interview television programme ''Almorzando con las estrellas'' that first aired in 1968 on Alejandro Romay's channel 9. Duilio Marzio (November 27, 1923 - July 25, 2013) was a well-known Argentine cinema and theatre actor. Life and work Marzio was born Duilio Bruno Perruccio La Stella in Buenos Aires to Sicilian immigrants, in 1923. He enrolled at the University of Buenos Aires Law School, obtaining a '' juris doctor''. Shortly afterwards, however, his interest in the theatre lured him away from his post in a local law firm, and he first starred on the stage in 1949 opposite Paulina Singerman in Antonio Cunill Cabanellas' ''Fin de semana'' (''Weekend''). José Maurer ( he, יוסף מאורער; 6 May 1906 – 23 May 1968) was an Israeli-Argentine actor. He was regarded as one of the greatest figures in Yiddish theatre. Early life He was born Yoshe Maurer Neumann in the town of Boryslav, then a thriving Oil town in Galicia, Austro-Hungarian Empire. Maurer was the son of the local cobbler, and known as an amateur violinist, actor and singer. Career When the famous Vilnius Jewish Theatre (Vilna Troupe), under the direction of Zygmund Turkow visited Boryslav in 1922, the 16-year-old Yoshe was offered a minor role. Two weeks later, as the Theatre left, so did Yoshe, never to return to his home town. As a member of this famous Yiddish Theatre he toured Poland and Romania until 1927, when he emigrated to Argentina.
