"Love Is…", written and composed by James Kaleth and Vikki Watson, was the 's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985, performed by Watson, credited at Eurovision and on the single by just her given name. The first female soloist to compete for UK at Eurovision since Olivia Newton-John with " Long Live Love" in and also the second female composer of a UK Eurovision entrant to sing her composition in the contest (after Lynsey de Paul),Evening Times May 3, 1985 p.37 Watson won the right to perform at Gothenburg by winning the UK national final, ''A Song for Europe'', where she was the first singer to perform. Aeone Victoria Watson (born 22 April 1959, Liss, Hampshire, England), best known as her mononym Aeone (pronounced ay-own), is a British musician and singer-songwriter, who now lives in Los Angeles, California, United States. Her music has been classified as new age, folk or world music. She has released four albums, one of which was an internet only release. She now works extensively in film and TV and has over 60 movie trailers to her credit.
