Love Complex
''Love Complex'' is the 23rd studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Yōsui Inoue, released in June 2006. The album features "Atarashii Koi", a song co-written by Kou Machida. It was used on the TV ad of Suntory's Old Whisky that starring Inoue, and released as a single before the album came out. Flip side of a single was "Nagai Neko", a song that Inoue's daughter Sarasa Ifu wrote the lyrics. Folk Rock
Folk rock is a hybrid music genre that combines the elements of folk and rock music, which arose in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in the mid-1960s. In the U.S., folk rock emerged from the folk music revival. Performers such as Bob Dylan and the Byrds—several of whose members had earlier played in folk ensembles—attempted to blend the sounds of rock with their pre-existing folk repertoire, adopting the use of electric instrumentation and drums in a way previously discouraged in the U.S. folk community. Blue Selection
''Blue Selection'' is the studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Yōsui Inoue, released shortly after its predecessor ''Cassis''. Like ''The Night Without a Guide'' album came out in 1992, it includes renewed renditions of his previous released songs. Those interpretations features the jazz-influence arrangements, and they were recorded by his then-touring band. The lead-off track "Kazari ja Nai no yo Namida wa" was released as a single prior to the album, but it was almost disregarded. Likewise, ''Blue Selection'' itself managed to reach the top-20 on the chart, and has been one of the least successful albums for Inoue. Yōsui Inoue
is a Japanese singer, lyricist, composer, guitarist and record producer, who is an important figure in Japanese music. "Hailed as the Bob Dylan of Japan .. He is renowned for his unique tone, eccentric lyrics, and dark sunglasses which he always wears. Under the stage name Andre Candre, Inoue debuted in 1969 and released a single "Candre Mandre" by CBS Sony Records. After he changed his stage name and signed onto Polydor, he recorded his first studio album '' Danzetsu'' in 1971, and the album was acclaimed by critics. Inoue gained recognition as a folk-rock singer-songwriter through his 1973 '' Kōri no Sekai'' album, which became the first long-playing record that sold more than a million copies in Japan alone.
