Love Bites (EP)
''Love Bites'' is the second EP by the UK-based comedy band The Midnight Beast which was released on 14 February 2013. Announcement and release The song was first announced by the band on The Midnight Beast website on 1 February 2013. Along with the announcement, it was also stated the EP would feature exclusive remixes by Hadouken! and Drums N’ Kicks (feat. Mr E Nigma). There was a link to the trailer for the song. The song was released on Valentine's Day of 2013 to continue with the theme (although used in dark humor) of love. Video On the same day the EP was released, the video for "Love Bites" (at 4 minutes and 32 seconds long) was uploaded to YouTube. The Midnight Beast, sometimes abbreviated as TMB, is a British comedy/parody music group from London. They are most famous for their YouTube cover-parody of the 2009 single " TiK ToK" by American pop artist Ke$ha. The group currently has three members: Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashley Horne. Reception The Midnight Beast had over 422,000 subscribers and 87,022,136 views combined on their YouTube channel (as of May 2021), as well as 405,650 Facebook fans as of March 2014. The group's songs often appear on iTunes music charts with their recent album reaching Number Two in the iTunes Music charts, and their accompanying music videos routinely reaching over 1 million views on YouTube. On Christmas Day 2009, the "TiK ToK" parody was featured on the front page of MTV.com. Booty Call (EP)
''Booty Call'' is the Midnight Beast's debut EP released in 2010. Background and videos The EP was released in 2010, the same years as each of the videos for the songs. The song ''"Booty Call"'' is about when the three members of the band, Stefan, Dru and Ash, have a sleepover at Stef's house. They involve themselves in various activities such as doing their hair, playing My Little Pony and watching movies. The song ''"Daddy"'' tells the story of Dru's past, when his father left him for their family's Spanish cleaner. It also shows how Dru reacts to this, which involves him eating excessively. ''"Fashion Innit"'' is a skit about the Band learning about fashion. The video for "Daddy" was uploaded to YouTube on 24 June 2010. The Booty Call video was uploaded on 12 August 2010 and has since had over 4,000,000 views. Hadouken! (band)
Hadouken! are a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, writer and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The band name is taken from the special attack of the same name from the ''Street Fighter'' video game series. It was in Leeds that Hadouken! began their own record label, Surface Noise Records. Kathryn Prescott (born 4 June 1991) is an English actress, best known for her roles as Emily Fitch on the E4 teen drama series '' Skins'' (2009–2010) and the titular character in the MTV teen drama ''Finding Carter'' (2014–2015).
