''Love.'' is the second extended play by South Korean singer Jay B, released on January 26, 2022 under the pseudonym Def.. Background and release Jay B announced the release of his first EP under the pseudonym Def. on December 31, 2021, by posting the title of the album through an Instagram story. ''Love.'' went on sale for the pre-order period only, from January 5 to January 12, and was released on January 26 under Warner Music Korea together with a music video for the title track "Sunset With You". The record is about love and the emotions it brings along; it's opened by "Again", an intimate and sensual R&B collaboration that sees rapper Leon rapping in two languages. Lim Jae-beom (Hangul: 임재범; born January 6, 1994), better known as Jay B (Hangul: 제이비; stylized in all caps), and formerly JB, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. Lim is the leader of South Korean boy band group Got7, a member of boy band duo JJ Project and sub-unit Jus2, as well as part of R&B soul crew Offshore as Def.. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. ''Be Yourself'' is the third extended play by South Korean singer Jay B, released on September 21, 2022, through CDNZA Records. Background and release After signing with CDNZA Records on July 22, 2022, Jay B immediately started working on a new album, beginning with writing the lyrics, and ''Be Yourself'' was announced the following September 2. The theme of the album is to express oneself freely without caring what others think, and was born from suggestions sent to the singer by fans about what kind of music they would like to hear. Jay B stated that he didn't decide on the theme in advance, but that he developed it by working and thought he wanted to talk about himself getting stronger. Riff
A riff is a repeated chord progression or refrain in music (also known as an ostinato figure in classical music); it is a pattern, or melody, often played by the rhythm section instruments or solo instrument, that forms the basis or accompaniment of a musical composition. Though riffs are most often found in rock music, heavy metal music, Latin, funk, and jazz, classical music is also sometimes based on a riff, such as Ravel's Boléro. Lo-fi (also typeset as lofi or low-fi; short for low fidelity) is a music or production quality in which elements usually regarded as imperfections in the context of a recording or performance are present, sometimes as a deliberate choice.
