Love (1991 Film)
''Love'' is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language romance film directed by Suresh Krissna, starring Salman Khan, Revathi (in her Bollywood debut) in the lead roles. It is the remake of the Telugu film '' Prema'' (1989). It could not repeat the success of the original and ended up as an average grosser. The makers changed the tragic climax from the original film to one with a happy ending. This movie is also remembered for the romantic song "Saathiya Tune Kya Kiya". The rights to this film are owned by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Plot Jailed as a juvenile for killing his abusive father (Sudhir Kumar), who is responsible for his mother's suicide, Prithvi (Salman Khan) is unable to stand any atrocity. Suresh Krissna
Suresh Krissna (born 25 June 1959) is an Indian film director who has directed Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi Language films. His first independent film as a director was '' Sathya'' (1988), with Kamal Haasan. He is well known for having directed Rajinikanth in four films which include, '' Annamalai'' (1992), '' Veera'' (1994), ''Baashha'' (1995) and '' Baba'' (2002). In the 1990s, he has also directed other major superstars including Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan. Early life and career Suresh was born to R. Krishna and K. Sharada in Bombay. Shafi Inamdar (23 October 1945 – 13 March 1996) was an Indian actor. He started his film career with the film '' Vijeta'' and continued it in ''Ardh Satya''. He acted in a number of television serials including ''Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi''. His most notable film roles include the inspector in '' Aaj Ki Awaz'', the villain in '' Awam'' and the friend of the hero in films like '' Nazrana'', ''Anokha Rishta'', ''Amrit''.
