Loukas Barlos
Loukas Barlos ( el, Λουκάς Μπάρλος; 1920 – 20 October 1999) was a Greek businessman who served as the twenty third president of AEK Athens F.C. from 1974 until 1981. Early life Barlos was born and raised in Thessaloniki, but his place of origin was Distomo in Boeotia. As a youngster, he was a supporter of Aris and even tried out with the club. He was the owner of bauxite factories and other mining enterprises. President of AEK Athens In March 1974, after the resignation of the then president Ioannis Theodorakopoulos from the previous December, he became democratically elected as the new president of AEK Athens with 58%. The team had won the championship since 1971 and were struggling, with many of their former stars were either retiring or leaving for other clubs. A.E.K ( el, AEK , formally Αθλητική Ένωσις Κωνσταντινουπόλεως; Athlitikí Énosis Konstantinoupόleos, ''Athletic Union of Constantinople''), known as A.E.K, is a major Greek multi-sport club based in Nea Filadelfeia, Athens. Timo Zahnleiter
Hans-Dieter "Timo" Zahnleiter (born 16 December 1948) is a German former professional football player and manager who played as a midfielder. Playing career Zahnleiter started his professional career in 1967 when he played for VfR Mannheim until 1971. He spent the next three years in 1860 Munich, a 2. Bundesliga team at the time, where in 1973 he suffered from injuries. In the summer of 1974, he moved to Greece and transferred to AEK Athens along with fellow countryman Walter Wagner. Zahnleiter played in the center and was distinguished mainly for his blocking skills, however, from the second year he was placed on the left end of the defense by František Fadrhonc, since the latter believed that this way AEK would achieve more beauty in their game. Lung Cancer
Lung cancer, also known as lung carcinoma (since about 98–99% of all lung cancers are carcinomas), is a malignant lung tumor characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in tissues of the lung. Lung carcinomas derive from transformed, malignant cells that originate as epithelial cells, or from tissues composed of epithelial cells. Other lung cancers, such as the rare sarcomas of the lung, are generated by the malignant transformation of connective tissues (i.e. nerve, fat, muscle, bone), which arise from mesenchymal cells. Lymphomas and melanomas (from lymphoid and melanocyte cell lineages) can also rarely result in lung cancer. In time, this uncontrolled growth can metastasize (spreading beyond the lung) either by direct extension, by entering the lymphatic circulation, or via hematogenous, bloodborne spread – into nearby tissue or other, more distant parts of the body. Milton Viera Rivero (born May 11, 1946) is a former Uruguayan professional footballer who played as a midfielder. In 1975 he was called to the World XI. Club career Latin America Viera took his first football steps at Nacional. He signed his first professional contract with the Uruguayan team in 1962, aged just 17. It was the year he was promoted from the youth ranks to the first team of Nacional. He remained in the team until 1968, even reaching the conquest of two Uruguayan Championships. Dušan "Duško" Bajević ( sr-Cyrl, Душан Бајевић, ; gr, Ντούσαν Μπάγεβιτς, ''Doúsan Báyevits''; born 10 December 1948) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. He is regarded as the most successful Bosnian football manager. He spent almost all of his career at hometown club Velež Mostar for who he played almost 400 games and scored 170 goals. Nikos Christidis
Nikos Christidis (Greek: Νίκος Χρηστίδης; born 18 September 1944) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Christidis started his football career in the youth divisions of Aris. In 1961 he was promoted to the first team where he won the Greek cup in 1970. He was for years the club's main goalkeeper, until 1974 when he was accused of bribery in a match against Olympiacos by Aris president, Kampanis. As a result he was released from the club and he was punished with a three-year suspension from all sporting activities by the General Secretariat of Sports and was banned from Aris for life, however many years later he was vindicated.
