Kiltale GAA
Kiltale GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling club based in Kiltale, in County Meath, Ireland. The club was founded in the early 1920s, then disbanded in 1934 but reformed in 1946. The club does not play Gaelic football; the county's football competitions are contested by the other club in the parish, Moynalvey. The club has won the Meath Senior Hurling Championship nine times, most recently in 2018, when it completed a five-in-a-row of county titles. It regularly features in the latter stages of that championship. Underage sides representing the club are regular winners of county titles in lower age grades. The Meath County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste na Mí) or Meath GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Meath, as well as for Meath county teams. Football County team The first notable Meath team was the Pierce O'Mahony's club from Navan that represented the county in the All-Ireland final of 1895, in the days when the competition was played between the champion clubs from each county. O'Mahony's lost to Arravale Rovers of Tipperary by 0-4 to 0-3. The county had to wait until 1939 for its next appearance at All-Ireland level, this time losing narrowly to Kerry by 2-5 to 2-3 in the final. Camogie All Stars Awards
The Camogie All Star Awards are awarded each November to 15 players who have made outstanding contributions to the Irish stick and ball team sport of camogie in the 15 traditional positions on the field: goalkeeper, three full backs, three half-backs, two midfields, three half-forwards and three full-forwards. They were awarded for the first time in 2003 as an independent initiative sponsored by a hotel group and accorded official status by the Camogie Association in 2004. In 2004 a team of the century was also chosen to commemorate the centenary of the sport. O'Neill's are the present title sponsors of the awards. The leading awards winner is Gemma O'Connor of Cork with eleven awards.
