Louis Van Der Westhuizen
Louis van der Westhuizen (born 31 March 1988) is a Namibian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm bowler. He has played first-class cricket for the senior Namibian cricket team since 2006, having previously lined up for the Under-19s. He made his first-class cricket debut on 11 May 2006, for Namibia against Scotland in the 2006–07 ICC Intercontinental Cup. Van der Westhuizen played for the Namibians in the Under-19s World Cup in 2006. Generally speaking, van der Westhuizen occupies the position of opening batsman for the Namibian side in limited-overs cricket. He was also part of the Namibian Under-19 team which won the Under-19 African Championship in 2007. Van der Westhuizen has success as a batsman in the Twenty20 format of the game. Playing against Kenya in a Twenty20 match, he scored 145 runs from 50 balls, then the third-highest individual score of all time in top level Twenty20. Windhoek (, , ) is the capital and largest city of Namibia. Kenya National Cricket Team
The Kenya national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members. They have been an associate member of the ICC since 1981. Since then they have played in five Cricket World Cups from 1996 to 2011 with their best result being a semi-final appearance at the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Southern Africa. They have only qualified for one ICC World Twenty20 tournament with that being in 2007. The Kenyan national team is governed by Cricket Kenya. 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two
2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was a cricket tournament that took place in February 2018 in Namibia. The United Arab Emirates won the tournament, after beating Nepal by 7 runs in the final. Canada and Namibia finished third and fourth respectively and remained in Division Two. Oman and Kenya finished fifth and sixth respectively and were both relegated to Division Three. Following Kenya's last-place finish in the tournament, their captain Rakep Patel and their coach Thomas Odoyo both resigned. Oman and Canada were the top two teams in the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Uganda and were promoted as a result. The 2006–07 ICC Intercontinental Cup was the third edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup first-class cricket tournament, an international cricket tournament between nations who have not been awarded Test status by the International Cricket Council. Defending champions Ireland won the tournament after three wins and one drawn game, defeating Canada by an innings in the final, and stretched their streak of unbeaten matches in the Intercontinental Cup to eight. The tournament lasted from 22 March 2006 to 23 May 2007.
