Louis Victor Eytinge
Louis Victor Eytinge (1878–1938) was an American entrepreneur and career criminal who was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison in 1907. While incarcerated he developed groundbreaking communication and motivational skills that led to his fame and freedom. Family His father was 56-year-old actor, Harry Eytinge, who moved to Dayton, Ohio, in about 1877 to manage a theater and run a drama school. In January 1878 he married one of his pupils, 22-year-old Ida Seebohm.Ida’s parents were Susan Grodhaus and Louis Seebohm from Germany. Seebohm was a photographer (using an early process called Daguerreotype) and artist located in Dayton. He died of fever in Brazil while traveling to Chatham Island on the Transit of Venus, 1874 expedition Their son, Louis Victor Eytinge, was born in September of the same year. Henry S. Eytinge (1822–1902) was an American actor, stage manager and producer, who captained the during the American Civil War. Early career Eytinge was the son of Dutch merchant, Solomon Eytinge, who had settled in Philadelphia and in 1821 married American, Mary Ann Miller. Henry, their first of twelve children, was born in Philadelphia on October 30, 1822. He received a good education before taking to the stage, joining a group of strolling players and getting his first serious role at the age of seventeen with C. A. Logan at the ''Albany Pearl Street Theatre''. The following season he played Mitchell's ''Olympic Theatre'' in New York. He was also interested in the sea and took a break from the stage, sailing to the Netherlands possibly in connection with his father's mercantile business. The 1874 transit of Venus, which took place on 9 December 1874 (01:49 to 06:26 UTC), was the first of the pair of transits of Venus that took place in the 19th century, with the second transit occurring eight years later in 1882. Plot As described in a film magazine, Paul Porter (Rawlinson) and his pal Daddy Moffat (Hernandez), who are two crooks, arrive at Paul's home town to find that Holt Langdon (Pring), a cashier at the bank and an old comrade of Paul's, is in trouble.
