Louis H. Prange was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate. Biography Prange was born in the town of Sheboygan Falls on August 19, 1884. He was a dairy farmer and president of a bank. Wisconsin State Senate
The Wisconsin Senate is the upper house of the Wisconsin State Legislature. Together with the larger Wisconsin State Assembly they constitute the legislative branch of the state of Wisconsin. The powers of the Wisconsin Senate are modeled after those of the U.S. Senate. The Wisconsin Constitution ties the size of the State Senate to that of the Assembly, by limiting its size to no less than 1/4, nor more than 1/3, of the size of the Assembly. Currently, Wisconsin is divided into 33 Senate Districts (1/3 of the current Assembly membership of 99) apportioned throughout the state based on population as determined by the decennial census, for a total of 33 senators. Sheboygan Falls is a town located in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,706. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The unincorporated community of Johnsonville is located in the town. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 32.0 square miles (83.0 km2), of which, 32.0 square miles (82.9 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2) is water.
