Louis Dale
Louis Dale III (born May 20, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Cornell. High school career Dale attended the Altamont School in Birmingham, Alabama, where he played basketball and ran track. As a senior, he averaged 16 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game. He was a McDonald's All-American nominee. Dale committed to play college basketball at Cornell in April 2006. College career Dale averaged 13.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a freshman. He was named Honorable Mention All-Ivy League. As a sophomore, Dale averaged 13.7 points, 4.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game. He was named Ivy League Player of the Year. Dale missed the first eight games of his junior season with a hamstring injury. He averaged 13 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. He went on a running program in the offseason to build stamina. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. Basketball Bundesliga
The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a "Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season. In addition to the league competition, all BBL teams compete for the German Basketball Cup. Boston College Eagles Women's Basketball is the NCAA Division I women's basketball program that represents Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system. The GBL plays under FIBA rules and currently consists of 13 teams, with the lowest-placed team relegated to the A2 Basket League and replaced by the winner of the play-offs of that tier.
