Barbara Lott
Barbara Dulcie Lott (15 May 1920 – 19 December 2002) was a British actress probably best remembered as Ronnie Corbett, Ronnie Corbett's character's mother, Phyllis Lumsden in the BBC television sitcom ''Sorry! (TV series), Sorry!''. She also appeared in ''Coronation Street'', ''Rings on Their Fingers'', ''Survivors (1975 TV series), Survivors'', ''Z-Cars'' and as Rona's auntie Pearl in the BBC television sitcom ''2point4 Children'', amongst others. Lott was born on 15 May 1920 in London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Richmond upon Thames, Surrey. Her father, William Lott, was an executive at Ealing Studios and Lott appeared in small roles in films as a child. She studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1937 and joining repertory theatre. In 1940, she married Stuart Latham, who was later a producer of ''Coronation Street''. Nic Lott
Nicholas A. "Nic" Lott (born May 8, 1979 in Taylorsville, Mississippi), is the first black student to have been elected student body president at the University of Mississippi at Oxford. Lott defeated five other candidates in the race at an institution once characterized by its strong support of segregation. Lott previously worked under former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (no relation), and U.S. Representative J.C. Watts of Oklahoma's 4th congressional district, an African-American who left Congress in 2003. He has interned in The White House in 2001 under U.S. President George W. Bush. During the 2003 Mississippi gubernatorial campaign, Lott was director of youth outreach for the successful GOP nominee, Haley Barbour. Ivor Lott And Tony Broke
Ivor Lott and Tony Broke was a British strip which originally appeared in the comic book ''Cor!!'' on 6 June 1970, before moving to '' Buster'' when the two comics merged in June 1974. The comic strip lasted until the final issue of ''Buster'' on 3 January 2000. The comic was originally drawn by Reg Parlett and later continued by artists such as Jim Crocker and Sid Burgon. Concept The strips revolved around two boys who lived close to each other. Tony Broke (a pun on the English slang term "stony broke," meaning to have no money at all) was the penniless hero of the stories, living in Broke Cottage; while Ivor Lott (which sounds like "I've a lot") — a spoiled, rich snob — was the villain, living in Lott Hall. Lott Warren
Lott Warren (October 30, 1797 – June 17, 1861) was a United States representative from Georgia. He was born in Burke County, Georgia near Augusta, Georgia. He attended the common schools and then moved to Dublin, Georgia in 1816. He served as a second lieutenant of Volunteers in the expedition against the Seminoles in 1818. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1821 and commenced practice in Dublin, Georgia. He was also a regularly ordained Baptist minister, but never filled a definite charge. Warren moved to Marion, Georgia, in 1825 and was elected a major of the state militia in 1823. He served as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives in 1824 and 1831. He also served in the Georgia Senate in 1830. He was solicitor general and judge of the southern circuit of Georgia 1831–1834. Lott Cary
Lott Cary (also in records as Lott Carey and Lott Gary) (1780 – November 10, 1828) was an African-American Baptist minister and lay physician who was a missionary leader in the founding of the colony of Liberia on the west coast of Africa in the 1820s. He founded the first Baptist church there in 1822, now known as Providence Baptist Church of Monrovia. He served as the colony's acting governor from August 1828 to his death in November of that year. Life Born into slavery in Charles City County, Virginia, Carey purchased his freedom and that of his children at the age of 33 after saving money from being hired out by his master in Richmond. Werner Lott (3 December 1907 – 2 May 1997) was a German U-boat commander in World War II. He was taken prisoner on 29 November 1939 after his boat was scuttled in the North Sea at position after having been depth-charged by , and . He was famously known for his humanity and being responsible for saving the lives of 28 Greek sailors whose ship he torpedoed; his submarine rescued the sailors who were treated with the utmost decency and landed them safely on a County Kerry, Kerry beach in what was one of only two such instances when a German submarine crew risked its own safety to protect the crew of a vessel they torpedoed and sank. Chester Trent Lott Sr. (born October 9, 1941) is an American lawyer, author, and politician. A former United States Senator from Mississippi, Lott served in numerous leadership positions in both the United States House of Representatives and the Senate. He entered Congress as one of the first of a wave of Republicans winning seats in Southern states that had been solidly Democratic. Later in his career, he served twice as Senate Majority Leader, and also, alternately, Senate Minority Leader. Ryan Lott (born 1979) is an American musician. He founded the band Son Lux which has released five albums and four EPs. The band's most recent album ''Brighter Wounds'' appeared in February 2018, the preceding album ''Remedy'' appeared in May 2017. Ronnie Lott
Ronald Mandel Lott (born May 8, 1959) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback and safety in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. Lott played college football for the University of Southern California (USC), and was honored as a consensus All-American. A first-round pick in the 1981 NFL Draft, he played for the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Raiders, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL. Lott was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000, and is widely considered to be one of the best of all time at the safety position in NFL history and one of the best players in NFL history.
