Saeid Lotfi (footballer, Born 1981)
Saeid Lotfi (born February 25, 1981 in Tehran, Iran) is a former Iranian football player, who played in IPL team Esteghlal and Paykan. He usually played as a defender. Biography Lotfi has a handful of appearances for ''Team Melli''. He has a strong physique and can play in defense and midfield with ease and confidence. His towering headers and tackling remains his strongest attribute. Lotfi has been given few opportunities by Esteghlal F.C. In the IPL 2005/06 season, he only played five full matches for them. Mohammad-Reza Lotfi
Mohammad-Reza Lotfi ( fa, محمدرضا لطفی; 1 January 1947 – 2 May 2014) was an Iranian classical musician renowned for his mastery of the tar and setar. He collaborated with singers such as Mohammad-Rezā Shajarian, Hengameh Akhavan, Shahram Nazeri and Alireza Shahmohammadi. Life and career Encouraged by his older brother, he learned to play the tar and showed his talent by winning the first prize in Iran's Young Musicians Festival in 1964. The following year, he started his studies at the Persian National Music Conservatory in Tehran under Habibollah Salehi and Master Ali Akbar Shahnazi. He was a tar player for the Fine Arts Administration Orchestra (Saba Orchestra) under the direction of Hossein Dehlavi. Abdolali Lotfi
Abdolali Lotfi, also known as ''Sheikh Abdolali Khan'', (23 January 1880–15 September 1956) was an Iranian politician and judge. He was the minister of justice in the second cabinet of Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh. Lotfi also served as the chief of the general inspection office. Just before the coup d'état in 1953 the Western publications, including ''Newsweek'', reported that Lotfi was one of communists who were dangerous threats for Iran. The other cabinet members who were also regarded as communist threats were Mehdi Azar and Hossein Fatemi. On 2 September 1953 Lotfi and Mehdi Azar were arrested by the military governorate. Lotfi was sentenced to prison terms. After being released from the prison Lotfi was attacked by the anti-Mosaddegh groups and died following the incident.
