Loten Namling
Loten Namling is an Indian-born singer, musician artist, entertainer and cartoonist currently living in Switzerland. He is working on his project, "Blues", in which he explores paths linking the songs to culture. The 14th Dalai Lama once called Loten "a singer with a voice." Based in Switzerland, the artist has travelled worldwide with his lute, singing the songs of the 2nd Dalai Lama, as well as other traditional songs, and his own songs. From Kalmykia to Korea to Wales, Namling has performed worldwide, telling stories about his life, connecting songs of the past to the reality of the present, and inviting his audience on a journey through the landscape of spirituality. Joan Gideon Loten
Joan Gideon Loten (also spelt Johan or John, in school records as Johannes Gideon Looten) (16 May 1710 – 25 February 1789) was a Dutch servant in the colonies of the Dutch East India Company, the 29th Governor of Zeylan, Fellow of the Royal Society (elected 1760) and Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London (elected 1761). During his time in the colonies he made collections of natural history. In 1758 he moved to Holland. Nine months after his return from the Dutch East Indies he moved to London, where he lived for 22 years and interacted with scholarly societies and shared his natural history illustrations and collections. Løten Church ( no, Løten kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Løten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Løten. It is the main church for the Løten parish which is part of the Hamar domprosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, stone church was built in a long church design around the year 1200 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 400 people. History The church in Løten was built of stone around the year 1200 with a number of Romanesque features. The church originally had a nave that measured about and a choir that measured about . Løten Station ( no, Løten stasjon) is a railway station in the Løten municipality in Hedmark, Norway on the line between Hamar and Elverum. The station is located in the southern area of the main community. It is served by trains on operating the Rørosbanen line. The station is 143.78 km from Oslo Sentralstasjon. Atenolol is a beta blocker medication primarily used to treat high blood pressure and heart-associated chest pain. Atenolol, however, does not seem to improve mortality in those with high blood pressure. Other uses include the prevention of migraines and treatment of certain irregular heart beats.
