Lost and Lonesome Recording Co. (often simply Lost and Lonesome) is an Australian independent record label founded by Mark Monnone of The Lucksmiths in 1997, based in Melbourne, Australia. The label specialises in indie pop, and has released both recordings by local artists and local releases by international indie bands. Hellogoodbye
Hellogoodbye (sometimes styled as hellogoodbye) is an American pop rock band that was formed in Huntington Beach, California in 2001 by singer Forrest Kline. They were signed to Drive-Thru Records and released their first full-length album ''Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!'' in 2006, having previously released the EP ''Hellogoodbye'' in 2004, and DVD '' OMG HGB DVD ROTFL'' in 2005. In 2010, the band released ''Would It Kill You?'' on their label Wasted Summer Records. The album was released in the United Kingdom and Europe by LAB Records on March 14, 2011. Hellogoodbye released their third album, ''Everything Is Debatable'', on October 29, 2013, while touring as the opening act for Paramore's The Self-Titled Tour. Still Flyin'
Still Flyin’ is an American Indie pop band based in San Francisco, founded in 2004 by Sean Rawls. Name of the Band The band is based on the song "Never Gonna Touch the Ground", a song that Rawls wrote and performed in a prior band, Je Suis France. After moving to San Francisco, Rawls recorded the song, which took on a life of its own resulting in the creation of Still Flyin’. The chorus of the song, "Still Flyin’, never gonna touch the ground" was the source of the band's name as well as its debut album and title track. Formation and History In 2004, Sean Rawls, a veteran of bands Masters of the Hemisphere and Je Suis France moved from Athens, GA to San Francisco, CA. The Smallgoods
The Smallgoods is an Australian indie pop band originally from the Victorian coastal town of Port Fairy, but now based in Melbourne. The band's music draws on influences from 1960s artists such as The Beatles and The Byrds, along with more recent pop influences. The band was originally a four-piece consisting of brothers, Gus and Lachlan Franklin, Ben Mason and Shags Chamberlain who established themselves on the Warrnambool pub scene in 1999 - Ben and Lachlan were playing in local cover band, Slight Return, Gus having achieved 15 minutes of fame with his Triple J Unearthed winning group, Gramps, and Shags playing keyboards with the Port Fairy band, The Pimps. Sleepy Township
Sleepy Township was an indie pop band which was formed in Perth in 1994 as a side project by Guy Blackman (guitar, electric organ, vocals), Mia Schoen (ex-Molasses) (guitar, electric organ, vocals), and Paul Williams (ex-Molasses) (drums, vocals). The band moved the following year to Melbourne, Australia, with Gorman replacing Williams. Alison Bolger (ex- Clag) joined the group on bass in 1998. The group released two full-length albums, ''Set Sail'' in 1998 and ''Deep Water'' in 2001, together with several EPs, for Australian indie label Chapter Music among others. The group broke up in March 2002, although they reformed six months later for a single performance to release, ''All These Records'', a compilation album, consisting of the band's singles and rarities. As Bolger was away overseas, bass duties were performed by Mindy Mapp (ex-Little Ugly Girls, Fur and Flesh Vs. Venom). The group reformed briefly in 2009 for two shows.

The Salteens
The Salteens are a Canadian indie pop group based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The band released several albums of light pop music, toured in Canada and Australia; a number of their tracks were in rotation on CBC Radio. History The Salteens formed in Vancouver in 1997. Their 2000 debut LP '' Short-Term Memories'' was released on Endearing Records. For the next two years the band performed in support of this release, earning a fan base in Canada, Australia, Japan and the United States. ''Short-Term Memories'' rose to the top of Canada's national college-radio chart, and was nominated in the category of Best Alternative Album at Canadian Music Week's 2001 Independent Music Awards. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart were an American indie pop band from New York City, formed in 2007. The band centered around founding member and principal songwriter Kip Berman (vocals, guitar). In the band's final iteration, Berman was joined in concert by Christoph Hochheim (guitar), A Sunny Day in Glasgow, Jen Goma (keyboards, vocals), Jacob Sloan (bass), and Anton Hochheim (drums). Former members and contributors include Peggy Wang (keyboards, vocals), The Drums, Connor Hanwick, Kurt Feldman and Alex Naidus. Lowtide
Lowtide is an Australian indie rock band formed in 2008 in Melbourne. It currently consists of Lucy Buckeridge (bass, vocals), Gabriel Lewis (guitars) and Anton Jakovljevic (drums). They are known for their expansive, reverb-heavy sound and aesthetic and are currently signed to Rice Is Nice and Opposite Number. The group was originally formed in 2008 as Three Month Sunset but renamed to Lowtide in 2010, where they emerged with their debut EP, ''You Are My Good Light'' in July. Last Leaves are an Australian indie pop band from Melbourne, Australia, made up of three-quarters of the members of defunct and well-known Melbourne band The Lucksmiths. Their songs feature the familiar lyrical wit and themes of nature and 'every-day' Australian life of The Lucksmiths' music (albeit with less of a focus on inner city living and more of a rural slant), but their sound is notably heavier and less jangly. Songwriter Marty Donald has described the new sound as being "more expansive and dynamic". The Ladybug Transistor
The Ladybug Transistor is a Brooklyn-based indie pop group associated with The Elephant Six Collective. History Started in 1995 by Gary Olson, Edward Powers and Javier Villegas, The Ladybug Transistor released '' Marlborough Farms'' the same year on Park N' Ride records, adding and subtracting a couple of members and going on an international tour.
