Lost In Light Rotation
''Lost in Light Rotation'' is the sixth studio album from indie pop band Tullycraft. After a three-year hiatus, the album was the band's first since '' Every Scene Needs a Center'' in 2007. All five band members (Tollefson, Fell, Munford, Mears and Hale) reunited for the album, and the band began the recording process during the summer of 2012. Tracking began with engineer Pete Remine at Dubtrain studio in Seattle. Producer Phil Ek, whose credits include The Shins' ''Chutes Too Narrow'', Band Of Horses' ''Everything All the Time'' and five Built to Spill albums, was recruited to mix the record. Ek's influence was apparent as the album had a slightly more polished, less lo-fi sound than past releases. The album was co-released on April 23, 2013, by Magic Marker Records in the US and Fortuna Pop! in the UK. Compact Cassette
The Compact Cassette or Musicassette (MC), also commonly called the tape cassette, cassette tape, audio cassette, or simply tape or cassette, is an analog magnetic tape recording format for audio recording and playback. Invented by Lou Ottens and his team at the Dutch company Philips in 1963, Compact Cassettes come in two forms, either already containing content as a prerecorded cassette (''Musicassette''), or as a fully recordable "blank" cassette. Both forms have two sides and are reversible by the user. Although other tape cassette formats have also existed - for example the Microcassette - the generic term ''cassette tape'' is normally always used to refer to the Compact Cassette because of its ubiquity. Its uses have ranged from portable audio to home recording to data storage for early microcomputers; the Compact Cassette technology was originally designed for dictation machines, but improvements in fidelity led to it supplanting the stereo 8-track cartridge and reel ...

Everything All The Time
''Everything All the Time'' is the debut album of indie rock band Band of Horses and was released on March 21, 2006, on Sub Pop Records. It features new versions of five of the six songs from the band's '' Tour EP'', some with different titles. The album is the only one to feature original band members Mat Brooke, Chris Early and Tim Meinig. History ''Everything All the Time'' features the band's original four-piece lineup, although both Tim Meinig and Sera Cahoone receive drumming credits. The band recorded this album in the heart of Seattle for Sub Pop Records. Discussing the album's sound, band leader Ben Bridwell said, "I thought before recording that I really wanted an ELO-sounding record, with strings and keyboards and synths, but then, as we got closer to it, we wanted to take a more raw approach." Regarding its lyrics, he added, "A lot of these songs didn't really come from any lyric writing, let alone any singing ability. A lot of the ways the words are sung were meant to ...

Chutes Too Narrow
''Chutes Too Narrow'' is the second studio album by American rock band The Shins. Produced by Phil Ek and the band themselves, the album was released on October 21, 2003, through Sub Pop. The album title comes from a lyric in the song "Young Pilgrims". The album was very well received by critics, garnering an overall score of 88/100 on Metacritic. As of August 2008 according to Nielsen SoundScan, they have sold over 393,000 copies to date. ''Chutes Too Narrow'' features cleaner production standards than The Shins' "lo-fi" debut ''Oh, Inverted World''. This is largely due to the album's being mixed by producer Phil Ek, who has also worked with Built to Spill and Modest Mouse. ''Chutes Too Narrow'' also departs from the band's previous keyboard-driven sound and shifts towards more emphasis on guitars. The album also included violin parts on "Saint Simon", played by Annemarie Ruljancich, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package. The cover art was designed by Je ...
