''Los Parientes Pobres'' (''Poor Relatives'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carla Estrada for Televisa in 1993. Lucero sang the main theme and it was an airplay hit in all Latin America. It was never released as a single, but it appears in the special album Lazos de Amor and her Lucero album known as ''Veleta''. Lucero and Ernesto Laguardia starred as protagonists and Co-starring Nuria Bages and Joaquín Cordero, while Alexis Ayala, Chantal Andere, Humberto Elizondo, Maribel Fernández, Delia Casanova, Ana Patricia Rojo and the leading actress Bertha Moss starred as antagonists. Lucero (entertainer)
Lucero Hogaza León (; born 29 August 1969) is a Mexican singer and entertainer. She is a multi-platinum singer in Mexico and has sung in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Lucero has sold more than 30 million records worldwide. She is often referred to as ("The Americas' sweetheart"). Mónica Miguel (born Gloria Chávez Miguel; 13 March 1936 – 12 August 2020) was a Mexican actress, director, and singer. ''Lucero'' is the tenth album from Mexican pop music singer and actress Lucero. It was released on 1993 and is often cited as ''Veleta''. This album was the first Lucero album released only in CD and cassette, without being printed on LP. Had two formats: a digipack special edition & and the normal case with the bonus tracks, selling 350,000 copies on the former and reaching half-million status with the later. It is estimated that in total have sold over 1 million copies, certified by two gold albums and one platinum. ''Lazos de amor'' (English title: ''Τies of love'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carla Estrada for Televisa in 1995. It stars Lucero and Luis José Santander. Plot The series centers around María Guadalupe, María Paula and María Fernanda, identical triplets (all played by Lucero) with non-identical, complex personalities. When they all were very young, they were victims of a car accident that killed their parents. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel").
