Lorraine Keane
Lorraine Keane (born 1972 or 1973) is an IFTA-nominated Irish broadcaster and journalist. She is best known as the entertainment news correspondent for TV3 and presenter of the daily entertainment show Xpose. Keane announced her departure from the show on 21 April 2009. Television career Lorraine joined the TV3 news team from her position as manager of AA Roadwatch, where she had worked for the previous seven years, broadcasting live on Radio 1 and 2FM every day. During that time Lorraine also presented various independent productions for RTÉ, including ''Live at 3'', ''Start Me Up'', ''Drive'' and ''RPM Motorsport''. Lorraine has written columns for '' VIP magazine'', ''Ireland on Sunday'' and the '' Star on Sunday'' newspapers. TV Now Awards
The TV Now Awards (known presently for sponsorship reasons as the Walkers Sensations TV Now Awards) was an annual awards ceremony which took place in Ireland between 2006 and 2010. The awards celebrated television moments from the previous year, with their name being taken from the magazine ''TV Now'' which is published by Michael O'Doherty. The TV Now Awards were held annually at the Mansion House in Dublin. The event saw cast members of British soaps such as '' Coronation Street'', ''Emmerdale'', '' EastEnders'' and ''Hollyoaks'' flying to Ireland to be present and to collect their awards. ''Après Match'' is an Irish comedy show normally screened after competitive Irish soccer matches on RTÉ. It is performed by Barry Murphy, Risteárd Cooper and Gary Cooke. It grew out of Barry Murphy and Risteárd Cooper's ''Frank's Euro Ting'' sketches which first enlivened RTÉ's coverage of Euro '96 for which the Republic of Ireland had failed to qualify. Home Of The Year
Home of the Year is an Irish property reality television series which has been broadcast on RTÉ One since 2015. Format The format of the series follows three judges visiting three different homes every week and each scoring them out of ten. At the end of each episode the house which has scored the most points advances to the final. After seven weeks, the seven winning houses are judged one last time with the overall winner announced at the end of the episode. Judges Architect, Hugh Wallace is the only judge who has appeared in every single season of the show. Season one, saw Wallace joined by, architect, Declan O'Donnell and textiles and homeware designer, Helen James. "I Will Survive" is a song by American singer Gloria Gaynor, released in October 1978 as the second single from her sixth album, '' Love Tracks'' (1978). It was written by Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris. A top-selling song, it is a popular disco anthem, as well as being certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song's lyrics describe the narrator's discovery of personal strength following an initially devastating breakup. It received heavy airplay in 1979, spending three non-consecutive weeks at number one on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 as well as topping the UK Singles Chart and Irish Singles Chart. The song is also frequently recalled as a symbol of female empowerment. Gloria Gaynor ( née Fowles; born September 7, 1943) is an American singer, best known for the disco era hits "I Will Survive" (1978), " Let Me Know (I Have a Right)" (1979), " I Am What I Am" (1983), and her version of "Never Can Say Goodbye" (1974). Early life Gaynor was born Gloria Fowles in Newark, New Jersey, to Daniel Fowles and Queenie Mae Proctor. Her grandmother lived nearby and was involved in her upbringing.
