Lorne is a seaside town on Louttit Bay in Victoria, Australia. It is situated about the Erskine River and is a popular destination on the Great Ocean Road tourist route. Lorne is in the Surf Coast Shire and at the had a population of 1,114 but this figure grows during the holiday season. History Prior to British settlement, Lorne was part of the traditional lands of the Gadubanud or King Parrot people of the Cape Otway coast according to Ian Clark, although many popular websites report that the area was occupied by the Kolakngat Aborigines. Lorne is situated on a bay named after Captain Louttit, who sought shelter there in 1841 while supervising the retrieval of cargo from a nearby shipwreck. Luka Lesosky-Hay
Luka Lesosky-Hay (born 1 July 2001) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). After a junior career with the Geelong Falcons in the NAB League Girls competition, Lesosky-Hay was overlooked at the 2019 draft. She was later selected to join Richmond as a train-on injury replacement player during the 2020 AFL Women's season but did not earn a league debut that season. Later that year, Lesosky-Hay was drafted by Richmond with their third selection and fifty-third overall in the 2020 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut against at Punt Road Oval in the opening round of the 2021 season. She was delisted by Richmond in April 2021. Richmond Football Club
The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Richmond joined the Victorian Football League (now known as the AFL) in 1908 and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020. Richmond's headquarters and training facilities are located at its original home ground, the Punt Road Oval, which sits adjacent to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), the club's playing home since 1965. Ned Reeves
Ned Reeves (born 31 October 1998) is a professional Australian rules footballer with the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early career Reeves was always a tall boy for his age. Growing up on the Surf Coast in Fairhaven, Ned played his junior football with the Aireys Inlet Eels in the Football Geelong Junior Competition and the Anglesea FNC until he moved to Melbourne at age 15. Ned attended Aireys Inlet primary school and St Josephs College, Geelong before St Kevins College, Toorak. He was the tallest boy in the NAB Under 18 League, playing for Oakleigh Chargers, but he wasn't drafted. He played the 2018 year in the VAFA for St Kevins Old Boys. He played in the Premier League premiership team. His father is the CEO, Justin Reeves, and the club invited him for pre-season training. Jack Steven (born 28 March 1990) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda and Geelong Football Clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL). During his time at St Kilda, where he played 183 games, Steven won the club's best and fairest award four times. At the peak of his career, from 2015 through 2018, Steven polled double-figure votes in the Brownlow Medal in each season, highlighting his consistency and value to the Saints' midfield.
