Lorne Leibel
Lorne Leibel (born 14 January 1951) is a Canadian sailor and one of Canada’s wealthiest real estate developers. He competed in the Tempest event at the 1976 Summer Olympics. In 2006, he was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame. Nevertheless, the two were allowed to continue to participate and after seven races they still managed seventh place in the final classification. Blake Leibel
On May 26, 2016, Iana Kasian was found dead in the apartment that she had shared with her fiancé in West Hollywood. Blake Leibel, her fiancé, was convicted of first-degree murder, torture and aggravated mayhem on June 20, 2018. On June 26, 2018, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole. The Tempest was a sailing event on the Sailing at the 1976 Summer Olympics program in Kingston, Ontario . Seven races were scheduled. 32 sailors, on 16 boats, from 16 nations competed.
